I offered no criticism until criticized. This guy, like we have 1 or 2 of every single winter,for decades, thinks he owns the place and must respond to Every post not directed at him with a directed response. They eventually get tired of not being crowned King by everyone and usually stomp off. We make observations and share experiences here. I am glad DT is back and it should be interesting once ps tries to once again play main boss and arbitrator

The Enso has simply changed and is no longer reliable as to predicting occurrent weather. The NAO:AO has not changed in its outcome effects and is as or more important now for us. Other things such as the MJO and SSW are great for elaborated discussions but simply unproven as to their broader effects upon our area.

This is the Mongolian cold I referenced last night. It generally takes 7-10 days to get here. one of its benefits is that it does not plunge southwest’s into the middle of US and then roll over to the east in an even greater modifies fashion . It tends to move more easterly through the eastern lakes and western NY and PA and then down upon us .

I snow tube and snowmobile . Try for one nice dinner at Helens. Another in Oak room. We get a party room so do some late night card playing and other mischief. I like to walk around the property behind the towers, it’s so pretty. Last years suck winter was made better as when we arrived it was 20 and snowing and blowing so got a fix. Ra*dy we need to do a mini conference up there.
