  1. If my temperature doesn't slow down this rise, I will be above freezing by daybreak. Still very light snow here
  2. Temperature up to 28 degrees here, it was about 23 at 9pm. A few inches on the ground and snowing lightly.
  3. That quickly developed. Yes it will fill in but right now it almost looks the storm is taking shape off the Carolinas and the northern precip is falling apart.
  4. Radar shows heavy precip over eastern North and South Carolina, very little in Virginia and a dry slot going from D.C. to Philly.
  5. I suppose you play it safe until crunch time. You can't say 18 inches then 7 inches with every model run. It looks like a general 6-12 from Virginia to New England with some area getting the jackpot of some 18-24 or so.
  6. Barely enough snow to cover the ground and looking to the west it is quiet on the radar. Could turn into hours of drizzle freezing or not.
  7. Cloudy here, 32 degrees. Precip scattered on radar. Not to impressive at this point.
  8. To me the storm to watch is not the weak one early in the week, but the potential real powerhouse later in the week, that may pass to our south.
  9. I can see it getting later and later and one reason is the heat island. The city has put up many large skyscrapers in the past 10 years and it has expanded east into Brooklyn and Queens. This morning for example, Central Park is 28 and most suburbs were in the teens. I was down to 17.
  10. I think most anything is possible, after all it is the 26th and today is the 16th.
