  1. Some of those record lows were smashed. Edson, AB. -45 old record -12.
  2. Maybe in about a weeks time.
  3. Thanks, like reading your updates and input.
  4. Yes it certainly was chillier yesterday with more snow than expected, at least at my location.
  5. 38 for a high temperature here today. Little colder than I thought it would be.
  6. Thanks, at least they got more than a trace.
  7. Did Central Park get more than a trace of snow?
  8. About 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch of snow here
  9. I guess after a period of above normal precip and storm activity we were due for this dry boring stretch of weather.
  10. 27 degrees already. Don't expect the quick drop in temperature to continue as the wind is already South Southwest
  11. Sure looks that way at least for the near future
  12. Yeah it looks like a continuation of the same old thing
  13. That would be nice but if we get anything there is a decent chance it would be rain at the coast.
  14. 22 degrees here this morning, coldest of the season by 1 or 2 degrees.
  15. Did you mean high temperatures will likely reach the upper 30s and low 40s not upper 40s to low 50s?
  16. The pattern for a while now has simply been mild to chilly to normal and back to mild repeat, rinse. Looks like this continues for the rest of this year, no prolonged cold in site.
  17. Storm late next week seems to be getting more interesting.
  18. 62 the high here. Gfs has a low southeast of the area with cold air to the NW just before Christmas. Doesn't mean much this far out but grasping at straws is all there is.
  19. It's all perspective. People that love snow and live in the Carolinas would love to live in NYC or any of its suburbs. People in Vermont, not so much.
  20. Heat island in full affect this morning. NYC at 46 degrees while many suburbs in the 20s to mid 30s. 32 degrees here.
  21. Bad storms and tornadoes going thru Mississippi Valley, Arkansas to Tennessee area.
  22. Upper mid west and upper Great Lakes certainly have not missed out on winter this month. Parts of upper Michigan have received 2-4 ft. of snow and International Falls Minnesota reached -15 and -16 this week. Minneapolis expecting a snowstorm tomorrow. The cold wintry weather barely making it across the Canadian border.
