The Newark area seems to be the hottest place in the summer for the NY metro area, maybe parts of the city can be as hot. As for Newark, no surprise with all the concrete, industrial facilities and missing out on the sea breeze.
Looks like lots of rain for south Florida but probably not much wind. We shall see. Surprised about putting up tropica storm warnings before there is a tropical storm but I quess they want to cover themselves.
I saw it was 82 in Boston at 8A.M. and 62 at 9A.M. Didn't realize most of the drop was in 10 minutes, incredible. Already 88 here but does not feel extremely humid.
