    Went from 8” to well over 10” from 1 pm thru about 2:45 ish.

    Yea it may end up more correct than other models with regards to a flip to sleet but its godawful otherwise.

    Extrapolating is subjective. The objective soundings on the hrrr support snow in the entire subforum north of 78 at 2. Whether its correct or not is a separate argument. But the comment that the hrrr shows sleet by 1 or 2 is incorrect.

    Soundings at 2 just south of nyc are still all snow.

    Plows starting to catch up now but its still horrendous. Definitely heavy snow in the 80s and 90s mile markers on gsp.

    Just went past exit 82 on gsp. There is 3” on the actual roadway lol

    Staying the night in AC and driving home at 5 am wasnt the best choice it turns out…

    Someone in rockland/westchester is having their last day without severe back pain today.

    NAM also showing that sleet line crashing south again and then back north in the evening. Somewhere along that area is in for a rough few hours.

    Im going to AC saturday. Dont want to cancel. Considering just waking up early sun morning and heading back north, dont mind driving in a little snow. And id love for us to end as a tiny bit of sleet before the bottom drops out this week. Just not in the bronx please, hard enough driving around there without ice and smaller traffic lanes lol

    When it finally switched from the hours of flurries to light snow we started accumulating on every surface immediately. Which i didnt expect considering how went and salted the roads are.
