    Its definitely amusing seeing some ppl who whined about it being too far north yesterday and “no one lives up north” now celebrating, gotta admit.

    The model output (and subsequent measuring) is not for roads. Enough. We know it wont stick as well on major roads. We dont measure on the cross bronx. If you want to discuss the dynamics, fine. But saying the modeled snow totals wont happen because “roads” is tiresome.

    Its a computerized output. Its by definition not misleading. Just because it doesnt match up with what the meteorologists have put out doesnt make it anything besides potentially correct or incorrect.

    Rt 17 in ramsey area was actually snow covered a bit. Not gonna get anything like we all hoped but at least the light snow is heavy enough to accumulate a bit.

    Because some like to whine. Others like to be overly pessimistic so when they get 2” instead of 1” they get excited. And others just need to keep typing the same shit over and over to show theyre right in some weird mommy and daddy issue from their childhood. but i got a B+ in psych 102 so maybe im way off.

    We were dropping 2 degrees an hour earlier but have stalled with some clouds.

    We have a gravel/dirt lot we “borrow” at work to park. The 1” or so of compacted snow is a full sheet of ice, and its on a slight grade. Least fun ive ever had at work trying to leave lol

    The thruway near the palisades with the uphill going westbound from the mall was pretty crappy earlier this morning.

    The palisades had more than enough snow to plow it earlier. As did 303, 59, parts of the thruway, and 202.

    Gotta try to clear it before any heavier sleet or freezing drizzle falls, but every time i step outside it switches back to snow.

    Went back to all snow with that “heavier” band moving through. Enough to re-cover the plowed and shoveled areas, mostly light but bordering on moderate occasionally. Trying to time the shoveling of the driveway. This is gonna suck.
