    Salisbury NC. A- 3 snow events 2nd event was 1-2" of snow and ice while 15 degrees during the day 3rd event was 14" of snow while 17 degrees during the day 3 degrees low on feb 2nd 17 days snow on the ground consecutively What would have made it an A would have been a cold christmas. Was 77 degrees christmas day

    My neighbors are using garden shovels, plywood, cookie sheets to shovel the snow. luckily, I brought my snow shovel down from LI when I moved to NC - it was popular item today in the neighborhood

    I have the same issue with my ambient. In the afternoon, the radiation shield has the suns shadow cast over it by the weather station itself. But in the early mornings and late afternoons, the sun is shining on the radiation shield head-on, so you see a temp spike.

    46/83 for the day today. Spectacular day. Love these cool start, warm finish type fall days. It's bone dry though, only 0.02" MTD

    92/62 for the day. Warmest day of the month. Just had a small shower roll thru after 17 days of no rain. Dropped a quick 0.19"

    I'm running about the same here in salisbury when compared to yesterday .. although my low was 3 degrees higher at 74.5

    Despite a steady light snow for a few hours now and temperature at 29 degrees, it's barely accumulating on the deck and grass. Melting even on those areas despite 29 degrees.

    just love these (sarcasm) dreary rainy days in the 30s low this AM - 31 High so far as of 4:45pm- 38 0.48" so far the bucket

    Officially hit 70 here.. what a difference a few days make.

    It's only my 7th winter here, so I don't think I have enough time to properly grade. But I did have 3 snow events this year, with the last one last week being the least amount at a dusting. and the one from December 3rd the most at an inch. Impressive cold.. with the high of only 25 last Tuesday.

    Wow. I just went back to look thru my pws records and same here. Only 2 nights above 32. And 11 nights below 20.. would be considered a decent cold stretch where I was from originally.. long island
