  1. Considering the GFS & NAM are like duplicate copies..... shouldn't that mean something?
  2. As long as anywhere west or NW within 150 miles gets hit....I really don't care.
  3. Funny...this is very true. That's the usually cutoff where even in a shit winter snow-cover is a lock from that point north.
  4. Ice is above average right now. Since the beginning of the year temps have been way below normal.
  5. I took my girlfriend up to Marquette in January....I knew she would have not enjoyed the east side of the U.P on her own. Would rather take her to SSM Ontario and run the loops there, but.....too hard getting into Ontario right now for pleasure.
  6. It's a big hit for SE Michigan. Looks like your run of the mill 8-12 inch deal.
  7. With the GHD 3 storm....which one nailed it 3 days out?
  8. That's life 800 miles from our moisture supply.
  9. You sound like the Higgins Lake version of Josh. 2013-2014 was the best winter of my lifetime and it's not even close. Only Feb 2015 was colder.
  10. I remember having snow issues in the mid 1990s in Northern Lower....so you just never know. We don't have good records going far back, just a lot of sketchy recollections and heresy.
  11. The lack of snow in the lower is starting to grow thin....literally. Did we even have a solid week of snow in the lower worth riding? Seems like every winter we're stuck in the M28 corridor or western U.P. After the last two day cracking the upper 30s....you can bank on SW Michigan being trash now. Oh....and Jan 2022 was the 15th coldest month in 42 years. It wasn't for a lack of cold.
  12. 15th coldest month ever at Flint. Jan 2022
  13. Exactly. It's amazing how many people think our average is made up from a repeating cycle of normal highs and lows. It's extremes on both ends that average out to "normal".
  14. Once twice in my life has DTW hit 12+! I
  15. Weenies saw the bust coming around 8am. That article was probably created by an out of touch normie.
  16. You guys got burned by a slow changeover. It was snowing here at 2am!
  17. The best snow within 150 miles is in Ontario and they aren't letting people in for recreational reasons. I wish this entire storm went north 100 miles.
  18. This looks like a 3 to 5 inch storm. We lost our moisture....my usual concern.
