Not me. I say with great confidence that January is going to be another epic month and we will have better chances of snow even here without worrying about mixing.
Ahh, you are into the Bargaining phase! I like it!

I bet you could plot the five stages of grief really well on this forum. I know I probably go through them.We are transitioning from Denial to Anger....

Except without the severe
True! Lived in Atlanta for 15 years, lived through 3 close calls with tornados, like 2 houses over close. Here in DC area for 22, nada. Which is fine by me!

Its all my fault. i started it this morning.
Nahh, I think most folks understand that us lowlanders need to blow off steam when we realize it’s not our storm, just part of the grieving process..I think the threads leading up to this have been good, except for the DT blow up with JI, but we all knew that would happen, LOL. Just part of the tradition here!

i remember that in the superstorm of 93 ATL got more snow than DC
There we go! I like the optimism! Yeah superstorm 93 was sweet. Looking back I am pretty grateful to have witnessed the storms I have, superstorm 93 in Atl, Jan 25 2000, PD2, 2009-2010, 2016 all here, pretty good run. Doesn’t even count the monsters from when I lived in Denver from my early childhood, some 4 ft monsters out there...

Personally I'd keep this form for I-95 to I-64 folks, Mountains and foothills are just a different climate.
The city dwellers should be in the Southeast forum, Our climate is now equal to Atlanta’s from 20yrs ago right!?

I don't set unreasonable snow amounts. I can't go from 0 to a negative snow total.
We need to remember we now have the climate of Atlanta, having grown up in Atlanta I am well prepared for fails.

I should have stayed in bed, see things have not trended well for the south and east folks. Time to start pulling out all examples of game time miracles...and warm up rain obs. Come on we need a miracle of Jan 25 2000 proportions.

Happy Anniversary @mappy! Dec 19 was one of my favorite DC snowstorms, seen them all since 1998 when I moved to DC, something about a Blizzard just before Christmas was magical though! Plus I was hammered Blizzard eve at my work Christmas party, stumbling home as it was starting...and yes the snow was up to my Golden’s eyeballs that evening!
