This is a nice little event, will hold me over for the coming torch. I am just happy I didn’t go 0 for 3 this week.  Temp 19 with light snow continuing, maybe a quarter inch so far.

Roads coated, beautiful pixie dust and some bigger flakes.  The flakes are so light they barely want to fall, they just want to float.

LWX likes playing with there new snow squall warnings...what do we think chances of verification are, LOL.  Winds are gusting from the south here, feels like summertime

I’m at 35 with a dp of 19.  We will see soon enough!

Once that squall line hits our hot and humid air it’s going to explode in intensity, but at the last minute we get the dc split and it clobbers areas east.  Just likesummertime, lol.

Totally, actually don’t remember any really that have worked out, 2011 comes to mind but that was different setup.  My bar is a sloppy inch for my area and would call it a win, anything more would be pure gravy.

It snowed heavy and stuck to the roads at 35 in November and I live south of DC.  Dont think it would be a problem in late January, at night.

Wow!!! Getting destroyed in this death band!  Huge flakes, plowed wet roads caved in 30 seconds!

Getting rain, sleet and snow, yuck!

Flake size increasing, wind kicking up too for once.

6 inches on the board, yea!  Radar looking good, yellows showing up, woke up to a meso!   Life is good....time for boozy coffee with some Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream!

2.5” now.  Steady stuff.

Pretty amazing to think that the snow falling in KC during the game is from the same storm we are getting.

Yellows are legit, best snow of the night.   1.5” roads 100% caved now.

Roads are finally caving, about .75”.  Nice flake size, moderate snow.

Ehh, just returning to normal, RVA getting more snow than the DMV just isn’t right!
