    The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has
    issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 6 AM to 4 PM EST
    Wednesday.
    
    * TIMING...6 AM to 4 PM Wednesday.
    
    * WINDS...West 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
    
    * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
      limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
    

    Great, back to what we excel with in winter, cold(ish) wind!

  2. While at 7 eleven this morning was talking to a contract plow driver, he was pissed that VDOT didn’t call out the small guys to do the neighborhoods. He also said that VDOT has cut its winter budget significantly (thanks hurricanes Florence and Michael), that VDOT has cut their hourly rates and would be cutting back on calling them out this year....we are going to get clobbered!
