    Only made it to 76° here today after this mornings heavy rain, and clouds with an occasional spritz this afternoon.

    Had 0.89" with the cell in a short time around 10am...currently a rain cooled 72°.

    Mostly missed the rain today 0.05"...Currently 79/72.

    Yeah some stations hit 80 in Feb. 2017...But afaik not on xmas 2015...High here that day was 61°.

    On SI? Highest temp i ever had on Christmas day is a 64° reading. Had a 70° reading on xmas eve afternoon in 2015.

    We really don't average that much snow in Dec...Metro stations around 4.5" or so, and big storms are uncommon. We've been spoiled lately to think otherwise.

    I remember having those same fears on a few occasions in the 90's and earlier 2000's, and things righted themselves and worked out ok...Lets hope it happens that way again.

    78/67 temp split today... 0.43" rain, most of it this evening along with some thunder.

    Exactly..Its something I've said many times. Outside of a person's profession and specific areas of education...many are totally oblivious.
