    For you hot weather lovers... Today in 2002 marked the first day of an amazing 4 day mid April heat wave..High temps at my station reached 91, 96, 91 and 91 degrees from the 16th thru the 19th.

    It was a pleasant and dry first 10 days of April, which is rather unusual...back to more normal type April weather.

    Rain picked up past couple of hours...up to 0.90" for the day.

    Nearby mesonet has gusted to 52 mph a couple times this afternoon.

    Winds now more wnw so have dropped down to 69°, off a high of 81°.

    My station saw 90°+ Temps on April 25th and 26th, 2009.... Then again in 2010 hit 92° on the 7th.... No April 90's for me since then.

    Yeah 1998 saw local stations surpassing 80° for 5 straight days to end March.

    Re the earlier post about first March 80 degree since 1998...For some reason in my mind I thought we hit 80 several times since then, but checking my records this is the first since then.

    Nice little rainstorm.... 1.20" here so far.

    Yeah did have a 10% reading on the Vantage on that day.

    I keep records for just about everything, but not humidity lol...I believe the lowest my station has gotten is around 13%.

    Greetings...Last two days high temps here were 73° yesterday, which was a station record and 69° today. Humidity got down to 17% this afternoon and 24% currently, which is pretty unusual for this hour around these parts.

    Still 40° at this hour...not alot of snow melt with the icy top layer... you can see the street lights shining on the snow.

    Snowfall here past 23 days totaled 32.8".... Season total at 42.6".

    And just like that it turned to rain here on SI, but still picked up 1.5" which accumulated on all surfaces... highest of course on top of old snow. Temp was 36° when snow began at around 11am and dropped to 33°.

    Finally down to very light snow after nice couple hour burst...1.3" fell today, 5.0" for storm, 27.3" for month, 31.3" past 19 days and 41.1" for season.

    Freezing rain here last hour or so...temp 27°. Temp range today was 29/23. Yesterday 29/16.

    Nice cold 27/14 split today.

    Nice job by the nws and some others with their snow amount predictions...I think the model huggers who suddenly lowered their expectations late last night...not so much.

    My station was 34° when the snow first began but quickly lowered and spent most of the storm at around 31.5°.
