  1. With the dry weather looking to continue the next several days...most of us have only seen two rain events during the last 33 days...fortunately they were significant for many of us locally.
  2. Rain wise, this month featured a 17 day dry spell and just 3 real rain events...they were all significant however so station rainfall of 4.85" was above normal.
  3. Gusted to 46mph at nearby mesonet with squall that moved thru... 0.86" rain since midnight and 0.47" yesterday, 1.33" total so far.
  4. 77/66 temp split today with a se wind...17 day rain free streak going.
  5. If you want to go further back...If my math is correct, Hartford has had 6.98" of rain since May 1st...My station for comparison has had 18.65".
  6. Station temp departure thru today of -1.3° for month....todays split of 76/55.
  7. 80° here today after the multiple mornings in the 40's.
  8. Kept some wind up all night so managed a 45° low, not bad for the date.
  9. Recent cooler weather has whittled monthly temp departure down to +0.4° here...should be solidly below normal by early mid next week.
  10. I have tons of photos of my life, started taking them when I was ten. I like to look back thru them every once and awhile, even though I've seen them a million times lol. I actually co owned a photo/video store on Guyon Ave from about 1986-1992.
  11. I know a smokey sky can keep temps down during the day but does it affect outgoing radiation.?
  12. Tracing the smoke over us now...you can trace it west, looks like to a fire in Utah...Of course there are several big fires out west contributing.
  13. Yeah I love looking at the visible loops and searching out things like that.
  14. What's your total since 6/1 ? ... 16.70" down this way.
  15. 82/71 temp split today...another 70°+ min which gives me 41 now this season which ties with three other years for most. Rainfall of 0.50" this morning and 1.24" tonight for a 1.74" total.
