Hi temp today of 92° with the rain cooled current of 72° the low.

Nice storm here, intense thunder and flooding rains...station had 0.60" in a short period but 1.50" fell a short distance away at my 2nd location.

The Fresh Kills ( Staten Island ) station is just down the road from my station and does match up pretty well with my highs.

Yeah 4.10" rain here past 7 days.

Pretty good storm....winds gusted to 40 with 0.68" rain.

Picked up 0.47" rain with just a bit of thunder at the onset.

Heavy rain at times this afternoon...closing in on 1 inch for today and 3 inches last three days... Another record breaking low max of 50 degrees.

Very impressive high here of 49° today...normal is 76°. Two day rain total of 1.95" so far.

Good to see the Fresh Kills ( Staten Island) station is at ground level... The mesonet installed a few years ago at the college is on the roof which made it kind of a waste imo... as mentioned usually too cool during daytime and too warm at night, along with useless snow depth measurments.

Only made it to 64° today during daylight hours...midnight high of 70°.
