  1. Getting very breezy up here now.
  2. The airmass in front is reason to pause the argument the first storm in a pattern change never works out. If we trying to get the cold to catch up to the precip that often fails especially in the southern part of our region. That is not the case with next weekends system. of course things may look different but as of now it's a decent if not really good look at some frozen accumulation.
  3. Plus just the fact that Ingram was the feature back all year and played outstanding. I felt all year that besides Jackson it was Ingram that was very steady and consistent and found the end zone.
  4. That's a little concerning. I feel confident with Ingram protecting the ball. Now Hill is the 2nd back and young players with little experience always seem to be good for turnover.
  5. The early March storm that year really crushed parts of PA.
  6. That's an amazing run. The total snowfall for the season is pretty much what I thought. Thanks. I love looking at historical records like this.
  7. Yup. I remember being up in York PA that January and there was 10-12 inches on the ground while I had about 3-4 in Reisterstown and about 6-7 in my current location.
  8. Apparently lol. Actually I was going by my neighbor's weather station and he always seem to run 2 degrees too high.
  9. There was a lot of ice even up here although I lived in reisterstown then. I think I was around 30. Probably broke 40 up here. The snow line ran more north/south with a lot of systems that year if memory serves. Being west helped some but not as much as usual unless you were more northwest.
  10. After reaching 37 for the high were now at 34.
  11. 93-94 was so close to having big totals. It's one thing to have so many mixed events with marginal cold or weak antecedent air masses but to have them in frigid conditions because the depth of the cold was so shallow has got to be a 1 in 200 year type winter.
  12. Rains holds off until after game is over is not heavy even then.
  13. This look would imply there could be some real arctic shots and even if a storm cuts it would be hard to scour and could be quite wintry before a flip to rain. Often with another cold blast right behind any departing storm.
  14. 12/4: 1.0 12/11: 1.0 12/16:1.0 1/7: 5.0 1/8: 2.0 Total: 10.0
  15. Theilin is an outstanding receiver. That was a great catch.
  16. Still warm at the surface but not awful. At least its something to keep interest and not 10 days away. in. Push the timing back 6 hours and cool the surface a bit then its doable. It certainly could beef up a bit. Probably a forum divider though.
  17. I'm really impressed with KC and think they are clearly the 2nd best team in the AFC. They have played better on defense over the last 6 games although they were against some really bad offenses but that still lends to gaining confidence. We all know Andy Reid's record in big games so that has me feeling somewhat better about this potential match up.
  18. I too think were going to play KC and I would normally agree with what you said but with Mahomes I'm not so sure. He looked really good in that snow game against Denver a few weeks ago. Their receivers had a lot of success and were able to run clean routes despite the heavy snow. Remember offensive players know where they want to run to. A snowy field is usually good for defenses because receivers have a hard time getting started into their routes but it sure seemed not to bother KC. I think I prefer windy and heavy rain with a sloppy field that causes some of his downfield passes to sail on him and makes it hard for their receivers to run clean deep routes.
  19. Without going into any details on any one specific winter here are a few. Some waited until March 33-34 36-37 55-56? not sure on this year 57-58 59-60 mostly in March 65-66 last week of January 78-79 82-83 1 big storm. 85-86 not great but a couple of late February storms were decent. 86-87 shutout until Jan. 22nd 92-93 98-99 not great but suburbs did ok in March 99-2000 shutout until the 3rd week of January then a great 12 day stretch. 2006-2007 2014-2015 a lot of those years did feature some snow in December so take this with a grain of salt. I'm sure there are others as well.
  20. Can't get over some if these totals. Awesome. Congrats. One thing is becoming clear, this is not last year or the year before. Good times ahead.
  21. I measured closer to 3 in several places. Maybe a decent band literally stopped 100 feet short of your house lol.
