That’s what I was thinking. It may be the worst severe weather day for Charlotte since one of those mid 80s outbreaks. I am talking about Charlotte specifically. I could care less about outbreaks anywhere else in the state in this instance.

If the tornado passed through Uptown, it would be the first since 1997. I havent heard of any damage in Charlotte, have heard damage in Gastonia.

Looks like the Spartanburg tornado damaged a wal mart. Looks like it might've passed close to Westgate Mall as well.

The cold front is somewhere between Durham and Roxboro. There's a weatherbug station in far North Durham that has gone from 58 to 50 now back to 57.
