  1. I dont know why people are surprised when 168HR storms disappear. I've lost probably a couple hundred inches of snow at this range.
  2. Karma for bounty gate? Probably. Im sure Sean Payton is gonna hit them Vicodin tonight
  3. I agree. It’s always the same cast of characters. We try to remind them to keep whining to banter.
  4. I can probably count on one hand the times Matthews did better than where I'm from in Gaston County in major events. 1/25/2000 comes to mind but then? eh.
  5. This is totally subjective, but... i would’ve rather had the one big event here(11”) split into two events with cold weather following each.
  6. As someone who moved from Charlotte, I'd go with Durham over Raleigh any day.
  7. RGEM looks like it’s gonna dump half a foot just west of Charlotte.
  8. Just want to point out that’s the 18z RGEM
  9. Man, I’ve seen crazier things kinda like 10” in Durham before December 10th
  10. The NCEP SREF plume viewer page
  11. If there was ever a year an ULL could swing through and squeeze out an impressive QPF field, well, Wilmington is almost at 100” on the year.
  12. SREF Plumes have 3.63 as a mean in Raleigh tomorrow. You’re living dangerously if you use 3k NAM QPF IMO.
  13. 18z RGEM also gives credence to this solution. In other news I may never sleep again.
  14. Although if that is nudged westward and I end up with the first week of December giving me 20”, I won’t complain ever again.
  15. Upper Level Lows do crazy things. You never know.
  16. Valentines weekend 2010 and don’t forget about last years coastal event
  17. I was thinking 86-87(actually I was fairly certain about that one) but was on the fence about the others. I usually go on the premise of you usually get one shot at a good one around here per year and we’re not even really in winter.
  18. With us just beginning winter, I wonder how many piedmont locations have had multiple snows of 6"+ in a winter.
  19. I could see that just being where the best lift and precip is located, kinda like the November snow in Lexington County in 2015.
  20. Only time I was ever in Columbia for snow you would've thought General Sherman was coming back through. Someone should warn them.
