    May be able to squeeze out a half inch to inch Sun morning right before mini thermal ridge on south side of clipper melts it right off lol. It's what we have to work with so I guess just enjoy the mini event for what it is lol.

    Everyone rips on the Euro since it's definitely not as good as it used to be, but it still schools the GFS 90% of the time. GFS had 1-3" of snow up to I-80 all the way up to near the event which was clearly lol worthy.

    Another miss south coming Friday, and then the wussy Sunday clipper looks to mostly miss northeast. Hopefully something meaningful pops up for around the 20th. There's been some hints there could be something in that time period.

    We've lost all but scattered patches of snow from last week's 1" event due to sublimation.

    We've had some pretty crappy starts to met winter over the past decade or so, but this looks to take the cake. No doubt this will end up being the least snowy 1st half of met winter I've ever seen. Usually after a dull December January wakes up, but there's no end in sight to it.

    Coldest temp of the season so far with 2 above this morning. Still got about an inch of snow on the ground, enough to make it look like winter.

    Snow departures are going to be growing larger over the next 3 weeks. MLI down over 9", Dubuque now down over 10". Should both be 15+" down by the time an appreciable snow system arrives.

    Looking like a complete shutout for DVN/LOT except for maybe the far southern tiers. Hopefully Chicago can at least score some consolation lake effect.

    Nice daytime event today with 1.3", bringing season to 3.2". Was a nice gently falling snow globe event with nice dendrites.

    MLI/DVN finish December with the seasonal snowfall totals at 1.3"/1.2". MLI is now down 9.9" from average snowfall. Seasonal total here is 1.9". Should get 0.5-1" of snow with tomorrow's wave.

    The little wave on Thu may deliver a good inch for the QC, maybe a little less here. Better than nothing I guess lol.

    Yeah this is a waste of a perfect setup for Champaign up through southern LM. Would've been a crusher for that narrow swath.
