  1. Low 90s the next 3 days but then cooler after that. Looking pretty dry the next 10+ days from here points south.
  2. On the board for August, picked up 0.23" from brief downpour from the Iowa sloppy seconds.
  3. Gonna be interesting to see how the two convective areas evolve this evening out west. High-end severe in the Omaha area now moving northeast, and all the stuff up around MSP may sink southeast. Either way you slice it I'm penciling in some heavy downpours later tonight for this area.
  4. 0.11" of anvil rain so far has got us to the 7.00" mark for July officially. Better chance for heavier downpours tonight.
  5. Pushing 7" for the month now here so if the next few days underachieve won't be a bad thing.
  6. We got hammered here as well with 2.44".
  7. Cedar Rapids getting hammered per usual
  8. Another round of 80 degree dews on the way for Wednesday and Thursday it appears.
  9. Looks like we'll be aboard the MCS train next week.
  10. Not in our sub but impressive heat up in the Dakotas. Temps pushing 110 in western North Dakota.
  11. Iowa stuff withered as it moved in, but added another 0.20" of anvil rain. 3-day total up to 0.26"- July up to 4.37".
  12. Just east of Rockford got over 5" again lol
  13. Storms crapped the bed as they approached, but getting some light anvil rain. Up to 0.03" for the day so far.
  14. Getting a few anvil sprinkles but still 0.00" for the day.
  15. 58 here this morning. We've lopped off 9 minutes on the sunset time already.
  16. Pretty refreshing air mass after the recent tropical stint. Got down to 53 here this morning.
  17. DVN confirmed an EF-1 tor tracked right through the heart of the QC, from Davenport/Bettendorf across the MS River to East Moline.
  18. Now that we've had the 80 degree dew experience a few days I'm good with lack of heat/humidity the rest of the way.
  19. Explains why they looked like DVN sized warnings lol.
  20. Extremely strong winds down around Kewanee. From the look of the radar wouldn't be surprised if winds are 100+ somewhere in there.
  21. Temp has crashed from 91 back down to 67, and the dew has dropped from 82 back down to 65. Nearly an inch of rain so far and still pouring.
  22. Pretty wicked looking as it moved in. You could tell there was a lot of shear. Luckily the kinks with the possible tors missed to the south. Just getting 40-45mph winds and very heavy rains now.
