Interesting I had it in my head that Carol/Edna/Bob were further east. Either way I’m going to latch myself onto this “threat”like grim death until it disappears

Is it unusual for a storm to originate that deep in the southwest Caribbean and then run the east coast? I would have assumed it would be more a Gulf or Florida threat coming from that location?

Very true we’ve had instances in the winter and we all know how rare those are. I’m not even sure how that translates to a tropical entity. Having said that I’m buying some thread and needles at the store later on

I guess there’s a reason(s)why (best to my knowledge) that we’ve never had a hurricane strike in this particular way at this latitude.
