    Just really considering tornados in terms of history around here I was thinking of the Wallingford tornado of August 1878 which killed about 30 people. The greatest death toll in a storm until Worcester in ‘53

    Biggest three in SNE were in June, August and October so anytime it gets warm is fair game really

    82 sunny and humid here in central FL but I’d trade it back for 60’s and drizzle for big boomers tomorrow

    Heading off to Disney World for a week, Pretty cool to be able to double your surface temp with a three hour plane ride. Hopefully get some good convection too

    This is probably a silly question but I’ll ask it here anyway, has Boston ever had a severe thunderstorm move from E to W into the city from the ocean? Excluding hurricanes I guess?

    That was a quality quick hitter this morning especially for April. But I would not be surprised in the slightest if that ends up being my big storm of the ‘19 warm season

    That was a really good one. The only storm i can remember being dismissed from school early for (this was the 80’s) . Had driving rain turn into blinding snow with hurricane force wind gusts that knocked down two trees in our yard and landed on my dads car. Quite a tornado outbreak in the southeast too if I’m not mistaken
