    Great question man. Also interested in this. Have some banding finally forming overhead but those bands seem almost stuck on the state line

    Off and on precip all morning is making my head spin over here. Went from mist to slop to nothing to snow/slop mix to snow within 3-4 hours. With each passing band, the levels seemed to cool off more and more until it was finally able to support snow. With the 700mb finally off shore and the RH field looking a lot better for northern areas, let’s see what happens. The environment for Moisture transport is much better than earlier this morning

    My son is in his freshman year at mount Saint Mary’s. The text he just sent said “hey dad, your snow nerd self would love this. It’s snowing like crazy all of a sudden” - that’s as good of an observation as I’ll ever get out of him

    Should begin to see flakes any minute. There’s flakes being reported at the Columbia mall and in Ellicott city

    I’d say it’s a 80/20 snow/slop mix that is mainly snow under heavier returns. Haven’t had pure snow all morning. My son at mount Saint Mary’s said they’d flipped back entirely to snow.

    Bingo! 850s are crashing HARD toward the coastline. Column should support snow by noon for most locations

    Man... so, so close. Great banding being shot up the 95 corridor in NJ. Best Dynamics are JUST too far NE to swing precip back into our area. Still think my area over to PSU and points north have a shot at 4-6” today My parents in New York proper have already surpassed my 6”, have 7.5” since 11 last night, and are heading for 2 feet by tomorrow morning, no doubt. So jealous.

    Nice burst of moderate snow. Columns are definitely cooling based on snowflake size. Looks like 850s are crashing toward 95
