    Had snowcover since December 29th. Longest straight period of seeing no grass that I can remember in quite a while. Seems like recent winters I have always been able to sneak in a January or February round of golf on a 50 degree day, but it will take quite a while for this growing glacier to melt down. Definitely going to have some hydro concerns when we get our first big rainfall.

    Yeah, with a 16" snow depth I am not getting too excited over 2" max storms.

    Verbatim, the 12z GFS has subzero or single digit temps out to 240+ with 20-24" of snow depth for N IL/S WI/E IA. You don't get any more "winter" than that. Ballin'

    I am much more okay with cold and dry when there is a snowpack. It is cold, brown, and dry that is suicidebooth.gif

    Seriously. Pivotal allows you to create a gif comparing models. If you are going to post 1.75 million useless maps, at least combine them into one image.

    Have nickel and dimes another 1.3” since this morning, 8.7” storm total thus far with light snow ongoing. Pushing hard for 9”
