  1. You dont need phasing to have a big storm. Like wow you are really going to fall on your sword with this one. GHD 2015 wasn't a phased system and I got 15" of snow. Or was i just imagining that snow storm.
  2. Like seriously how can one be so wrong on literally everything.
  3. Which means the op is on the southern end of that envelope.
  4. I would take this and move it north. Too much biting of one run shifting south on a few models while others staying consistent or still moving north.
  5. Old school images, gotta remember to convert mm to inches for QPF
  6. This upgrade has absolutely destroyed realistic cold sector precip. I just don't get what they did but they did something bad.
  7. Oh yeah there are definitely people like that out there.
  8. I have been doing weather observing for almost 12 years.
  9. I'd say its about same spot on the mean, but the cold sector is more generous (more realistic) this run.
  10. EPS Control/mean went back north, there were a few duds though. Interesting how we are spreading out more.
  11. Elizabeth Banks is fantastic on Press Your Luck, and yeah that was a brutal whammy.
  12. Centuries ago, plus anyone could have fallen down and produced 3 snowstorms that winter
  13. If this fails, Joe is banned from starting storm threads.
  14. Yeah you and IWX's CWA can win on these as well, see GHD or 99 blizzard.
  15. I mean there is always a chance the GFS could be right and the northern stream suppresses everything, but I am hedging by bet that it is a bit too overzealous.
  16. Yeah this has the traditional nina look to it, Ohio gets the rain.
  17. I like where I am sitting on this, I do think it probably won't be as far north as the Euro Op, the Canadian actually had a pretty solid look and would be closer to where I think this ends up. Overall though this has a good shot at hitting a lot of people for their biggest storm of the season to this point.
