This is definitely a sleet sounding for sure.

I know how to read and no matter how marginal it is thats a decently deep section of the atmosphere near or slightly above freezing. You don't need some honking warm layer at +2 or greater to get sleet. Not sure why you are defensive of an explanation as to why you are going to get sleet.

ILX IWX and CLE all went 8 to 12 in the areas adjacent to IND.

They screwed up, not only for that reason but they are grossly lowballing compared to the adjacent offices. Its a bad forecast.

Wagons west on every model for 00z. Dtx's going forecast of 1 to 3 is definitely going up. Id argue the eastern 2 tiers and the thumb needing a watch with current model trends.

I will cross post this because it does the same at 96 hours as well. I wouldn't trust the GFS output for precip, it can't even agree with intramodel processes.

Incredible amount of garbage from GFS. I will give an example, this is at 45 hours in NE Indiana, sounding Map at same time I mean that is insanely wrong. -
Absolutely agree, the roll out in general has been absolutely terrible due to the negligence of the last administration. It is only now things are starting to right themselves some.

Yeah no need for line jumping either. Those are younger can wait but should still be signing up at the appropriate time.
