    Glad it was not as bad as it could have been and that you are both ok. And kids using the appropriate phrase that they assign to an event in the moment is always ok in my book. Then again I am one of those parents that used to have a swear jar when they were younger so it just does not phase me anymore.

    33 with 1.46” and a steady rain. So glad we stayed above temp wise. Would have been an absolute mess had we not.

    Just dropped the kid at school. And ram to the market for a few things. Just a very cold raw rain here in SW FredCo.

    Still sitting at 32 with .68” and steady rain. In the light just a light glaze on trees. Everything lease just looks wet. Reading the FCPSMD social media has been a morning popcorn session. Mind you we have a lot of our teachers that live outside the county so the sub list could be interesting.

    Good morning here is a FredCo report. 32/31 .48” Cannot determine ice accretion yet in the dark. Just heard WasCo schools closed and woke to a change to an Ice Storm warning from a WWA. Have a feeling with this next batch of heavy rain coming through FCPSMD will be following suite to WCPS.

    Actually Wes is a big softy. Millie is the cantankerous one. Small but she is the boss lady!

    35/21 here in SW FredCo. Kid will get to sleep in but I am sure I will be mauled by the cats to eat at 6:30.

    So I was surprised that FredCo called tonight for a delay. We have always in the past been that system who makes you wake at 5 am for a late start.

    Yeah. I can handle snow. Grew up in NW OH. But I give ice respect. FredCo is so big and anything above and W of 70 usually dictates the decision.

    I went out on a limb with my 11th grader and say a 60-70% chance of at least a delay. 30-40% closing. Her teachers today were calling a 80% chance of closing.

    I am suspecting yes. I am in SW Frederick Co and even if we get a lighter effect down here the N and NW parts of the county will be why.

    Watching this morning. My daughters roommate is from Dallas. Lives between Dallas and Ft Worth. So her family is under the gun.

    Mom brag post. The older Ms. J is a Comm Film Studies major at AU. In one of her classes one of her last projects was to put together a short film. She called today to tell us that not only did she get a 100 on it, but that her professor gave her an extra 5 points as it was so well done! https://youtu.be/YWj8xWcGJVc

    38 with some sort of precipitation that fell. Had a Carrot push about snow about an out ago. It is wet out but not thinking from snow.
