  1. Yes it is. We are headed down to the Czech Christmas Market at the Embassy and it is going to be a beautiful day.
  2. .20” last night. Quickly climbing up to 60 from a low of 45.5 at 7:04 this morning. Of course Mother Nature is going to stick it to me with the cold next week. Taking care of a friends horses till the following weekend and looks like I am in for it. Her farmette is up on the West side of Furnace Mountain and that cold wind will be brutal.
  3. Looking at my morning data my low was 27.3 at 5:54 am
  4. Hello Mr. Bluesky. Light winds still but the sun is shining bright.
  5. Ok I went and looked should be a line wind warning only.
  6. I saw the warning come up. But am refraining from looking at radar.
  7. You were not joking! Just hit and wind driven pouring rain. 1.06 currently.
  8. 0.84 and had one flash of lightning and thunder. It’s the little things
  9. Just got our first freeze warning for this fall.
  10. Well while Mother Nature did not provide, Pandora did. Fell asleep to my Thunderstorm rain station last night. Props to those who got some rain and thunder.
  11. I saw one flash to my SE does that count as a Thunderstorm for me
  12. I have an Ambient. You got it set up to report online?
  13. .50 between last night and early this morning. Takes me to just under an inch for the month of October. Year total of 33.21"
  14. My daughter who rides is home on her fall break. Told her next year if it is during her fall break we will take a drive over to watch. Nice that MPT was/is showing it live on their broadcast.
  15. I have both my college kids home unexpectedly this weekend. Putting a new perspective on Mother Nature. We get thrown curve balls in weather much like we do in life.
  16. Looks and feels like a White Chicken Chili kind of night.
  17. Hoping today is the last day of August in October. I have planned a lot of soups in for the next week. So either it will have to start cooling down or I will have to crank my AC and eat them. The cats are wanting their heated donut beds on also.
  18. Was taking one of our cats to the vet early this morning. The fog was so thick that I could not see my kids former HS driving until I was right in front of it. Thick as pea soup as they would say.
  19. Out at Rehoboth Beach for a few days. Was warm yesterday. It is absolutely jungle like today. Glad we did most of our walking yesterday. Although the 4 mile bike ride this morning after breakfast left us dripping in sweat.
  20. In my experience watching a friend’s chickens, they are never easy. Tiny Velociraptors running around. Mr. J and I are trial running the new EV out to Rehoboth Beach for a small vacation this week. The weather looks to be a bit better than over here cloud wise. Plan on doing a lot of exploring.
  21. I have my station reporting on the PWS site. Here is a map of all the stations on there. Not sure if there was one in the area you were referencing. I am to the South of 340 west of 270. I got 2.89”. 3.28” for the event. https://www.pwsweather.com/station/map/pws/kmdfrede232?ob=temps
  22. 2.88” for the day. Tack on the .27” from last night and that was a solid rain that was needed.
  23. Looking at radar things seem to be winding down. With what I got last night and then today I am sitting at about 1.50”. Honestly I am surprised. I really felt that this would stay South. But it was so needed.
