So while we only flew through Zurich to Czechia (formerly Czech Republic) English is spoken by most. Our oldest studied in Prague and while she was required to take a Czech language class most Europeans know and are quite good with English. It is a part of their schooling. So most Europeans in urban settings speak English pretty fluently. The older generation and more rural parts it is a bit harder.

Yeah it did not say why just unknown outage. Funny thing is they are usually pretty good about sending a text about any outage. We never got one until after service was restored. Still says service is being looked at but have been up and running since 8:30. Need to figure out the EV charger though. While it is powered it says it is offline with the WiFi. Think it may just be a unplug and replug issue, but could be that the connection was lost and has to be re-established. Up to 54 here now. HVAC install is almost done. House is holding at 68, cooler than what it is when the heating is on but just have a jacket on.

Went down to feed the cats. Thought to myself wow the house is cold. Thermostat said 66. Forgot to switch back to heat from cool last night. Outside temp here is 27. Quite rude. Put the heat back on to warm the house up as the system will be down all day for the install. On a side note internet went down at 10 last night and is still down this morning. Xfinity had a 1:15 am back up time, but that has been pushed to 9 am. Longest outage we have ever had. So running off cell data until back up.

You can just keep that stuff to yourself thank you very much.

Thanks I was wondering about this. Hoping that this is our last Freeze up here. Getting a new HVAC system put in tomorrow. After the morning the day looks good for not having any heat or air con for the day.

.47” here. Sun is out but that cool wind has kicked in. Have inside jobs to do anyways so will get those done today.

Wow what a refreshing afternoon this has turned out to be up here. Currently at 77 with some clouds and a wonderful WNW wind blowing. Had lunch out on the deck as we opened it up early.

Went to bed with temps in the mid 70’s. Woke to temps in the low 70’s. Missed out on that broken line of showers last night but did get some decent wind against the back of the house.

Had those two nice pop ups early in the evening down here in SW FredCo. And caught the tail end of that line to my north. Got 0.07” not much but will take what we can get at this point. Currently at 1.21” for the month.

Two nice little cells came through. Second one was raining with the sun out. Looked to the East and had a beautiful double rainbow. Mr. J was driving home with his top down and had to pull it up as he got into the neighborhood.

Nice bit of rain. Went out when it was light and threw some grass seed down. Using this wet day also to finish a DIY project.

Mr. J has a MX 5 and it requires Premium. Not looking forward to that. At least we now have an EV and charge at home mostly. I told him that if it gets really high to just take my car to work and I will just stay home for the day. I have bad knees and do not drive his car with manual transmission.

55 out currently. After the third round of storms last night picked up 0.38” for the day. Was nice to see the lightning and hear the thunder. While cloudy and gray this morning it hits differently than a cloudy gray winter day. All the new growth has that fluorescent green color and it shows off all the other budding trees.

Getting some of that line pushing through here. Sideways blowing rain. ETA getting some small hail.

77 out. Nice breeze out there helping to keep my AC off with West to East cross ventilation. Getting the smells of the Frederick Co. farmland wafting in.

So overnight I kept getting push notifications from Carrot weather and The Weather Network that heavy rain was starting soon. Checked that I had the right location set on both as I have many saved locations with push notifications.

71 out at 12:30am. Struggling to fall asleep as we are not wanting to turn the air on.

Down to 79 from 82. Am trying really hard to not turn on the AC yet. Just looked and it is not supposed to get much cooler overnight. Hope ceiling fans and windows open make sleeping cool enough.

83 glorious day out. Cleaned up my backyard garden beds to get them ready. Clouds are starting to roll in but still enough sun with occasional wind gusts.

Quality day today. Was able to head down to see the kids pony. She is shedding like crazy and I washed her tail and mane from all the winter crud that gets in there. Came home and put our deck back together from when we pinned everything down from the wind storm potential a couple of weeks ago. Daffodils out front are in full bloom and some of my deck perennials in pots are coming up.

Oh man have been there 3 times. First had surgery in 99 for a 3 mm stone. Then passed a stone in 2013 and again in 2022. And I eat healthy. Being GF most fast food places are land mines for hidden wheat. Every time you have one your chance goes up 50% of having another. Mine are caused by my neurodivergence and sometimes going a whole day on one 16oz. glass of water. Remembering to drink is my downfall and I go through spurts of being really good and then going to bed at night and asking myself did I drink anything today. Sending good healing vibes to @RevWarReenactor
