Just saw this on Twitter and and going to put it in my calendar.
Posting it as I though others on here might enjoy watching.
Mr. Tornado (The story of Ted Fujita's Tornado science)
Making some grilled Mustard Potato salad to go with Brats and Kraut tonight right now. It is a new recipe but wanted a more German style taste. Has a lot of vinegar in it.
Not sure why they have that name but they have a whole can of Hershey's syrup (which I grew up calling Chocolate Dope, it is an OH thing) in them and nuts. To die for!
Iowa Brownies
Texas Sheet Cake
Thanks! This is one of my favorite recipes. Reminds me of growing up and my grandparents had a cottage on a lake in MI. We would go up for the weekends and my grandmother either had a Texas Sheet Cake or Iowa Brownies made. It makes a lot and is oh so good!
Ask and ye shall receive. Have seen that recipe reviewed on Kalen Reacts. Watch this That's Just Nasty
That is not even quality drunk food!!!
Now this Texas Sheet cake just made by my youngest Miss J should take that abomination right out of your minds.
Holy cow! Winds are insane behind that line. Had about 30 min of blue sky then clouds rolled in and stuff is blowing all over the place. Temp back up to 71 after going down to 68 when the storms came through.
What just went through here was meh at best. Couple claps of thunder and put me over 1" for the day. Looks like the energy is on both ends not so much the middle. Bright blue skies behind.
Just got back from Lovettesville. Pony had a vet appt this morning. Right at the end of the appt it started pouring. Drove home in a downpour most of the way. Now home and the sun is starting to break through. Temp is 66 and sitting at .98" so far for the day.
I am heading over to Lovettsville this morning. The vet is coming out for Spring shots and care visits. Appt is at 9:30. Looking at radar this line may have pushed through by then. But am I reading this correctly that the severe potential will be behind the line with developing storms?
So question. We had continual flashes of lightning up here but hardly any thunder. I think my husband and I counted 2 claps. Is it because the strongest part of the storm is right overhead. It reminded me of watching lightning off in the distance about 50 miles away. Continual light show but no thunder.
