    Clouded back up over here due to that straggling line coming into Brunswick ahead of the line out over 81.

    Listening to WYPR and they just broke in with an Emergency Management alert and playing the weather radio information.

    Just got back from Lovettesville. Pony had a vet appt this morning. Right at the end of the appt it started pouring. Drove home in a downpour most of the way. Now home and the sun is starting to break through. Temp is 66 and sitting at .98" so far for the day.

    I am heading over to Lovettsville this morning. The vet is coming out for Spring shots and care visits. Appt is at 9:30. Looking at radar this line may have pushed through by then. But am I reading this correctly that the severe potential will be behind the line with developing storms?

    Thank you! Will teach the girls about that today for their extended science classes.

    We did have hail but it was not big. Pea sized at best but was continual for about 1-2 min.

    So question. We had continual flashes of lightning up here but hardly any thunder. I think my husband and I counted 2 claps. Is it because the strongest part of the storm is right overhead. It reminded me of watching lightning off in the distance about 50 miles away. Continual light show but no thunder.

    Just got it up here. Hail, wind, a lot of lightning and rain hardly any thunder. Kind of nice to be woken by it.

    I am in the Ballenger Creek area. Made my husband get the bird feeder down don’t want it whipping around.

    Getting pretty dark over here. Friend out in Lovettsville says there is a lot of lightning. pouring rain thunder and lightning now.

    After some surprise morning downpours, it is starting to lighten back up over here.

    Frederick County will call a 2 hr late start at 5 am with a re-evaluation by 7. I will be totally surprised if they do anything tonight.

    That looks amazing!!! Love anything apple. On another note sat down and watched Dumplin’ with my 15 year old daughter today. WOW!! I had to bust out the box of tissues. I recommend to anyone to watch it especially if you have daughters.

    Frederick, MD 4” wet snow. 29.0/26. Sent the man out to clear the drive. Child #2 after cleaning her bathroom will be testing out her new lightning fast spinner with the neighborhood kids. Child #1 is now 15 and the thought of getting into snow gear is past her.

    28.9/27 Treated roads are staring to cave. Still only a dusting.

    30.4/26 very tiny flakes falling but deck is starting to get covered.

    I was in Gatlinburg, TN and had no idea anything had happened until my husband texted me saying that they just had an earthquake. Then it took me close to an hour just to contact him. I am personally glad I was not at home. I experienced at 4.2 in LA, small potatoes to them out there but it is not natural to see concrete walls move back and forth. Was one of the main reasons that I told him I did not want to continue living there.
