Perfect! I always used to be a snow lover. Grew up in NW Ohio. But as I have aged I enjoy the small events the bigger ones not so much. The thought of being in the house and then the shoveling.

Yep, I live just 8 miles N of Adamstown off of Ballenger Creek Pike. And can remember over the years many warnings in that area.

I had heard Rt. 15 North of Leesburg.

Do not have pictures but was told by a friend that 28 near the Horse Park in MoCo is shut down. Power poles sheared off at the top.

Well that was an exciting morning. Both kids got a Tornado drill out of it. Rotation was well to my South but as SW Fred Co was u set the warning all Fred Co schools were in Tornado precautions.

Just had a friend who’s husband was driving on 28S and thinks he drove through the circulation or very close to it. Trying to get an exact location from him. MS daughter just texted and is still in the halls. She is happy she is missing PE. Kids!

HS daughter just texted they are in the halls. Warning is well South of me but nice to know they are being safe.

Thank you. I am told I do not give myself enough credit so going to take this one. I also have to thank my husband for working with me to raise our daughters this way. His support of allowing them to grow into well informed young women really is key.

As the mom of 16 and 13 year old daughters we have always had an open door policy in our house. I do not put up with drama and we have open lines of communication. I am sure we make other parents gasp as we use fowl language from time to time and let them learn from their mistakes. My girls were watching animals mating on Nature from a very early age so talking to them has been very easy. We did not watch the game or the halftime but I heard about it. Sounds like a clear case of double standard of how women present themselves vs. men. And quite frankly it is a crock of crap. The 16 year old has very strong feelings on the double standard of girls vs. boys when it comes to dress. She finds it laughable that shoulders are found to be sexy. My daughters will have to look for just that right partner later in life, because they will probably piss a lot of them off with their views.

My daughters ponies took care of him.

Frederick County will call a 2 hr late start at 5 am with a re-evaluation by 7. I will be totally surprised if they do anything tonight.

That looks amazing!!! Love anything apple. On another note sat down and watched Dumplin’ with my 15 year old daughter today. WOW!! I had to bust out the box of tissues. I recommend to anyone to watch it especially if you have daughters.

Frederick, MD 4” wet snow. 29.0/26. Sent the man out to clear the drive. Child #2 after cleaning her bathroom will be testing out her new lightning fast spinner with the neighborhood kids. Child #1 is now 15 and the thought of getting into snow gear is past her.
