  1. Understood. How much for Montes Apenninus? We will just have to live with trying to set records we know are flawed. Sort of like betting on a game that Tim Donaghy is officiating.
  2. MDT is the one we are qualified to argue about :-).
  3. We should get pitchforks in hand and storm HIA squared. (Well maybe just us locals, not sure you are THAT interested in MDT -ha)
  4. This would mean Joe the Mechanic recorded the Blizzard of '96.
  5. Just disappointing we use it for record comparing with previous years.
  6. Welcome to the "Not MDT" club. 3K Nam scored the victory last night. Sweet, sweet 40's in the middle of the summer.
  7. Makes comparing records and wondering if "we" get a record a little less exciting...at least to me. Makes you wonder when they went from normal recordings to the HIA effect and how cold it really was on those record days post HIA effect. .
  8. And its usually mostly the cold temps they are high on. The other day when Training got to 95, MDT's highest recording was 92.
  9. The King did gravitate back a bit vs. its extreme flooding scenario at 12Z. N NJ went from 10" to 1". Guess it did not want to carry the 0. CMC looks very 6Z GFS like with the ridge placement and areas which are just outside the ring of dry. GFS is slightly more East with the ridge.
  10. HIA has two meanings at MDT. Harrisburg International Airport and Heat Island Affect. Crazy they are only going to record a low of 54. LNS had 49 and York had 46.
  11. 6Z GFS waffles back a bit and you are back in the rains early next week.
  12. They might have frost with the DP being so close.
  13. CMC does not get a chance to throw its 18Z rebuttal out there. The Euro is going to show warm and dry every chance it gets.
  14. I think you and I see 40-45. And definitely some 30's in colder PA spots.
  15. Hmm, a bit disappointing. it really seemed to be juicing up as it continued east.
  16. Looks like MDT will stay in the 60's for "daytime temps" though had a midnight high of 77. Broke into the 60's around 8AM.
  17. I was thinking you guys (Lancaster) started mid morning. Either way, hopefully you got close to 1/2" or better.
  18. Central and Eastern Lancaster still scoring. Basically an all day rain.
  19. Just looked at the EC qpf maps and its much more GFS like.
  20. I am about to punt 70's over here. 1:30 and still sitting at 61.
  21. Wow, CMC is a flood threat early next week. Rain Train like yesterdays GFS.
