  1. Hrrr gets colder LSV locations into the 50's again tonight. Probably last time until this time next week. 3K Nam a bit warmer. Made it to 79 here today but on the way down now.
  2. The forum is trending at #2 for people who search this phrase
  3. Three for MJS now. The Palouse first and then Pillow. Pillow > Short Pump
  4. My memory suggests that it's MJS's fault as much as anyone else. Now Voyager travels through there frequently as well.
  5. Pillow could trade them the copious amounts of water they have (I hear they now have winter springs in July!) and Bedford could give back some old Lincoln Highway/US Route 30 travel souvenirs left over form the 1940's when the PA Turnpike killed the Bedford travel industry.
  6. Both are in agreement that there is no major heat wave coming in the next 10 days. Though Sun-Tue or Wed is going to be quite toasty. Euro actually does have a much more compact version of the GFS Summer PV at the end of the run as well. They also both say things are going to get mighty dry in these parts.
  7. Euro is actually a bit more giddy about a mid week trough and other than this Sunday, is really not that hot at all. Mon and Tue are above average but nothing shocking,
  8. We kick the can down the road a few more weeks and the road ends on major heat waves.
  9. But ground results are palatable aided some by clouds (temps, still quite dry heading into fantasy time). The ridge seems to like hanging out in fantasy land.
  10. Maybe we should open a Gofundme for them? :-). They can travel out to the Midwest. That depiction would be great weather for the first part of week one in August.
  11. The Summer PV is back for Canada. Keeps the ridge in place in the Western and Central US.
  12. Looking similar to this Am M-W is the heatanista's time. Thur and Fri the Cool heads get theirs.
  13. Yep, we start the climb back to normal or above heat. Still great today and tonight though.
  14. They are all better than the Bubblers when it comes to names that suggest strength. Don't bring your smack talking fans around here or we will bubble up some spring water and send you packing with some bottles!
  15. Yep. In fact in "olden days" they could be considered to be the worst. And Cowboys were bad as well.
  16. Centre is British English so that makes a bit more sense. From Wiki and the making of an empire! History[edit] The lands of the future Centre County were first recorded by James Potter in 1764. Potter, having reached the top of Nittany Mountain, and "....seeing the prairies and noble forest beneath him, cried out to his attendant, 'By heavens, Thompson, I have discovered an empire!'" [4] After the American Revolutionary War, Centre County was created on February 13, 1800, from parts of Huntingdon, Lycoming, Mifflin, and Northumberland counties; it was named for its central location in the state.
  17. Mostly cloudy and still only 69 here. Cooler than yesterday at this point.
  18. And Cleveland. You are surrounded by racists and dangerous former names. I will admit that Washington Wizards has a more easy flow to it than Baltimore Wizards would have. The cancel culture may come for the Pirates next though!
  19. I am not sure of the answer to your question but it does bring up a bit of trivia very much related to our current convo. Abe Pollin wanted to move the Baltimore Bullets to the DC area. In relation to having to build an arena he needed a second tenant....of which it was decided that tenant would be the Caps. But Abe had never been to a hockey game so it was all new to him. So the Caps were born just to help facilitate the Bullets move from Baltimore to DC.
  20. Interesting Tampa news. I bet his move was part new work and part retirement. If I had to go back to Florida, Tampa/Bradenton/Sarasota would my choice. Would need someone to pony up and get me living accommodations though as its out of control down there. Blue Jays headed north for the summer.
  21. You forgot your sarcasm emoti. With that said I was once up in PA for family get together vaca, from Florida, when a snow storm hit and gave regular updates on here from the Route 15 Country Inn near the Gettysburg Turnpike exit. LOL.
