  1. 65 and sticky this AM. Might be a little wetter this week than we thought. Even some possible rain today for Southern LSV. Both the Nam and GFS have some/much of the LSV near .5 by Thursday.
  2. Looks like we are closing out the day with .10" over here.
  3. Now lets find some rain and make it a real party.
  4. 18Z GFS runs a QB sneak and the ball is inside the 10 for next weeks 40's night. Midnight high alert.
  5. Yea, models were not overly enthusiastic and Mother Nature played along. That hit in southern Lanco formed just before it actually hit them so a fortunate score for the area. Parts of York County are getting some rain this evening.
  6. Short of a stalled front or tropical system I think you are fairly safe for some decent weather.
  7. I think today was the last day for a bonanza over the next 5-7 days...and its very much underperforming.
  8. I have had to stop looking at the qpf maps. 1) They might be wrong. 2) If they are right, things are going to get really dry for most.
  9. Dual Core Trough on the EC pushes us into the Red Zone.
  10. Called the flea flicker to perfection. Some exceptionally low high and low temps into fantasy land. Bradford Weatherunderground therms getting ready for their first 30's in a while?
  11. Whether smoke or just "old fashioned haze", today is about as bad as the worst day last week.
  12. HRRR has been slowly increasing the output this afternoon.
  13. Evan Fournier > USA Basketball Team. If they lose to Iran it's over.
  14. Team 100's chances of winning lower as each second ticks off the clock. Unfortunately our QB, GFS, only knows how to call one play; a fly route down the sideline. So lots of chance for more drama Our previously steady RB, Euro, has been benched because of a fumbling problem. PS-Could someone call the groundskeeper and let them know that the turf in my corner of the stadium is getting crunchy and needs water?
  15. GFS-"Just kidding. That Friday will have lows in the 40's as well".
  16. If we get a July night in the 40's, not at all a given, I will be ecstatic and may be ok with a little extreme heat. Ha.
  17. Lows in the 40's Next Saturday. Near or above 100 following Friday (generalities)
  18. Have not been paying attention but downgrade in temps tomorrow on the NWS Zones showing 84 here and 90 at MDT. 3K Nam agrees with staying in the 80's. HRRR has mid 90's.
  19. Sorry to say that you missed the big stuff happening this weekend. On Wednesday, Averie Goshert won the 2021 Miss Paw Paw Crown, tonight is Mud Bog night and of course tomorrow is Sunday, Sunday, Sunday.
  20. In other news, the US is tied for last place after day one of the Olympics. But the women's Waterpolo and Soccer teams won.
  21. Sounds like fun. Plus Paw Paw or Charlestown Casino are possible day trips.
  22. That is a good way to look at it and frankly its not great when it does not rain (in the summer) for weeks at a time. Here's to you having a good time regardless. If too much family drama just pop on here and I will get something started in the MA to take your mind off it.
  23. Are you staying all week? Worst case its one day even if its chilly and wet. Unfortunately I think there is a good chance you get some rain that week just based solely on today's models. With all the movement and grinding of gears between that ridge trying to move East and the parade of troughs protecting us, eventually its going to direct moisture between them.
  24. Surely overstated but in model defense the 12Z Panel is full of 40's behind that front so basically no warm up with the rain.
