  1. Wundermap worth posting. A fairly sunny, albeit it hazy smoky, day and these are the highs at this point. 75 here so not going to make 80 and no rain to buffer it down. Old Fashioned Summer day. Second map is DP's.
  2. Not much different than my routine though I use the phone quite a bit with pillow. My alarm is set for 6:30 but rarely make it there. Usually 5:30 to 6. My pillow time is more in the evening. I have issues with TT and putting a run on automatic forward (on mobile). The screen blanks out frequently. So I am starting force myself to wait until I get to a larger screen to look.
  3. Well regardless of temp hopefully it turns out to be a restful and fun vaca. In the MA's eyes (not just the board, the general population) they did not steal anything. They consider it eminent domain. Most people in the MA live in a bubble and think everywhere else is just like their area. If they feel like travelling to the panhandle of MD then its now part of the MA.
  4. I use State Farm for some stuff so I may get exclusive hourly panels out to 240 hours.
  5. I am going to predict it does not come to that...just model talk. GFS could be in kick the can down the road mode. The MA board loves them some Deep Creek.
  6. Someone/thing needs to pay the exorbitant salaries of athletes. Back in the days you speak of, athletes made similar salaries to Joe Q Business guy.
  7. Heck, with the ridge in that position basically covering the top half of the US, a westerly wind, KPIT might have to think about triple digit possibilities.
  8. Newspapers would be printing about it. TV Weathermen ringing the bell. Though the GFS as is still shows a serious drought risk for S Central PA.
  9. I never knew they crossed the border. I am 0-2 now.
  10. Temps do not translate too much to over drive despite super ridge. Well they do day 15/16 but not going to fret over that.
  11. Fixed that up for you. But you get credit for the joke. If I had to fly right now I would wear an oxygen tank to keep Delta Dawn away.
  12. Yea, I do not know. I see your point with the dates being different each way. Maybe US citizens can come back but no Canadians.
  13. Oh, ok. Well no Tim Horton's for Paweather then.
  14. Yep. Mid land starts to get relief as the ridge makes a move.
  15. They just extended it. Covid rising in most states. https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/news/2021/07/21/us-mexico-canada-border-reopening-travel-restrictions-through-august/8034057002/
  16. GFS reading just downright sucks right now from Texas up into Canada. Will it be 100 or 110 today.
  17. Actually they just extended that, I forgot. No Blue Jays game for you. New date is Aug 21 for now.
  18. There is still snow up in Canada but a bit of a drive.
  19. Biggest change from 0Z is next weekend into the following week. Not ridge dominated but we lose the cooling trough it had there before. But yes lots of pleasant nights on the GFS. It sends any heat wave concerns into August (if ever).
  20. Good idea in case someone kicks sand in it. Only a buck or two lost instead of 5 or 6 bucks.
  21. I thought of saying something but I did not know if you were doing a Coors Lite type week or a craft beer week and did not want to assume :-).
  22. MDT never gets above 91 the next 10 days as the trough does just enough to keep the heat blanket away.
  23. With the winds blowing from the west it may be warm but not as warm as the HIA. I see the trough poking down to save us for Thursday I believe. Wed was a bit hot. (Edit-Thursday still hot at the beach being east of the front.)
