  1. GFS may be smarter than we think. It ends your dreaded summer temps on the last day of Met summer.
  2. There is a whole line of cells forming in the afternoon heat back into NY. Just have to be lucky :-). Henri has hardly moved in hours. Literally crawling.
  3. The convection lottery is getting started for the LSV (well under way a bit east) First up, Lebanon county...too far east for PAweather it seems.
  4. I call them Silly Philly sometimes...I wonder if lots of others do as well. Did not realize it was a thing. I started it when I lived in Philly.
  5. That looks like the winter creeks in Pillow having a summer overflow.
  6. Thank Goodness! I have enough to deal with having to admit to Jerry Jones.
  7. That was the word for Red Sox, Washington Capitals, UVA Cavaliers BkBall....all turned it to when.
  8. That is from cells that form later this afternoon and evening....Henri has started to pull away but the rotation in the atmosphere still pushing some moisture down over us and with heating, some cells fire off. Not areawide nor overly severe I would think. Downpours and some rumbles.
  9. But won't it feel great when it finally does snow in Key West? That is one of the things i love about rooting for perennial losers. The win feels much more euphoric (when it comes).
  10. Will see how this plays out. HRRR sees a Central LSV split for the afternoon cells. Eastern LSV scores again.
  11. Thats right. No more systems up here according to EJ so Florida and the Gulf Coast are in the spotlight.
  12. Between back door's and a trough dropping out of Canada, the CFS continues to advertise the first fall like weather for the second week of September. Lots of caveats to using the CFS of course.
  13. Yea, its mid 60's. Not perfect but better than the 3 or so 90's days we get this week.
  14. Heck, there is this...not out your way but no rain involved in keeping temps in the 70's over here. Your 80's string may be near double digits though.
  15. EC and CMC continue to blunt the heat this week. Low 90's at times for sure (both here and out your way) but nothing out of the ordinary for MDT and only moderately out of the ordinary for you. Back door front possibilities over here as well.
  16. Lancaster County holds on as the LSV winner going into today. They are also much more likely to see the storms this afternoon.
  17. Yea. If Henri had been wound up and potent, we would have been in subsidence, sunny heat much of yesterday. It weakened and pulled Henri West for last nights rains in the East.
  18. We were not really getting the rain shield from Henri....we had an ULL trough over us and the moisture, outflowing from Henri, ignited it and wrung out the atmosphere.
  19. If that low stays parked over SE NY all day tomorrow I think we see some MAJOR convection in the afternoon. Could be interesting. Moisture pumping down into the LSV with sun and 80's. Get your pwats and capes ready to go.
  20. Tonight is now an east of the Susq night per Meso's. If they are right, the duration of the rain pulled back a bit.
