  1. Its our only shot until Wed at least...probably Thursday. Meso's say we have a shot.
  2. If East PA/NJ/South East NY get a tropical system in the next few weeks, there is going to be a lot of destruction. Lets hope not. Y'all just need to start sharing. Paweather is about to get his third cell in the last 2-3 hours.
  3. It's only weather, right? The group is diverse so we will never find the perfect weather. I can only hope for the results that make everyone as happy as they can be. No one wants snow in Sept (except maybe a couple guys just North of Harrisburg).
  4. @Cashtown_Coop, chance some of the western storms get over our way in the next 1-2 hours. Would be nice. Been rooting on the Eastern folks for days now...we should cash in, right?

  6. I saw Pillow got nicked. The radar estimated totals are coming in too low today as I am seeing some ob's .5 to 1" all over the eastern LSV into Berks. The storm that straddled Lebanon/Berks put down some 100+ lighting strikes.
  7. They should try search parameters "paweather" "BS" "Aikman" "Irvin" "Palmyra" "Bastardi" ...and see what comes up. Casey Kasem , Denny Logan and John O'Dea have all mentioned my full name on the air if you want to try. Some of the mod's know it as well so it cannot be too hard to find.
  8. Surprised that storm in Lebanon county is not warned.
  9. Someone is probably combing through the archives to get the real name of Paweather.
  10. I think you have a string of several in a row coming up now, right? Depending on how much rain/clouds we have Thursday I guess.... We have been getting close to as hot as you recently but only 85 here now. Been a lot of clouds.
  11. Good call on the hefty totals. Some fairly intense storms just to the north of the LSV are dropping big totals and the cells in the LSV are really doing nicely as well. I thought there were would a lot of popcorn convection but its even more than I though.
  12. You seem to be in the line for more chances. I doubt we see too much rain again until Thursday, probably some lucky people Wednesday, so I have been watching this one in hopes I get some. Some fairly strong storms now near Bloomsburg.
  13. Congrats. There are some fairly small but intense thundershowers up in the MSV. Not much lightning right now.
  14. GFS may be smarter than we think. It ends your dreaded summer temps on the last day of Met summer.
  15. There is a whole line of cells forming in the afternoon heat back into NY. Just have to be lucky :-). Henri has hardly moved in hours. Literally crawling.
  16. The convection lottery is getting started for the LSV (well under way a bit east) First up, Lebanon county...too far east for PAweather it seems.
  17. I call them Silly Philly sometimes...I wonder if lots of others do as well. Did not realize it was a thing. I started it when I lived in Philly.
  18. That looks like the winter creeks in Pillow having a summer overflow.
  19. Thank Goodness! I have enough to deal with having to admit to Jerry Jones.
  20. That was the word for Red Sox, Washington Capitals, UVA Cavaliers BkBall....all turned it to when.
  21. That is from cells that form later this afternoon and evening....Henri has started to pull away but the rotation in the atmosphere still pushing some moisture down over us and with heating, some cells fire off. Not areawide nor overly severe I would think. Downpours and some rumbles.
  22. But won't it feel great when it finally does snow in Key West? That is one of the things i love about rooting for perennial losers. The win feels much more euphoric (when it comes).
