  1. So you guys have been living in an ice age since the 1800's. That is fairly bizarre to MDT's records being so current slanted.
  2. MDT only has 3 days that have not hit 90...the last 3 days. Strange that so many of yours in so long ago. That is suspect.
  3. Yea, living here means you either WFH, Contract, or have a job in Gettysburg, Chambersburg, Hagerstown or Frederick. Baltimore is a definite no. I love that Lowes.... it is rarely busy and that Wal-Mart is one of the rare ones I will go in to. Being accustomed to Florida Wal-Marts, which is like going to another nation, this one is a treat.
  4. And frankly its not that bad IMO. I think we are living a dream to hope for no hot days in September. The lowest daily Maximum at MDT, in September, is 88 on Sept 28th, 2019. What this would do is put the month up for grabs as to it being a negative or positive departure. Will be well into the negative after the first two weeks.
  5. Several nights with upper 60's lows in the LSV. Highs are not too extreme. Above average.
  6. That would definitely make for some record type temps in the Mid West.
  7. The mid day football at UF/Gainesville constantly featured dozens of people being wheeled out with heat exhaustion.
  8. Summer is so cute....gasping and trying to hold on to a small piece of the MA
  9. Let's get it out of the way when we are not expecting it to be too cool anyway. Normal in Sept is not too shabby.
  10. I was just driving through Rouzerville headed east (turned off before I started up the mountain) and felt thankful I live in such a beautiful area. Cascade nearby et all.
  11. I am glad I had your ob as my dad insisted he only had a few inches. I confidently told him he had more.
  12. And you were the big winner. My dad is near valley green and had water in his basement.
  13. A dozen dead in basement apartments in NYC. 2 dozen dead in NJ from people driving into water.
  14. Yea, the exceptions exist. I look less at the precip and more the temps. The MDT normal high and low on Dec 15th is 43/28 while Mar 15th it is 51/32. So I cannot say that Dec is fall and Mar is winter when the temps are colder in Dec.
  15. I am Met seasons 100% myself. Not because of trying to rush anything vs. when I think the weather does adjust some. Calling March 20th "winter" is sort of weak IMO.
  16. That appears to be true but how much of this is people wanting to rush the end of summer but hang on to any chance of snow :-).
  17. LOL. 6" of rain in a day and then none for two weeks is just about the same as none for two weeks. The only area that benefits from the 6" is the aquifer and lakes. The vegetation needs rain every few days.
  18. The RGEM had a Bullseye up into NJ late in the game but it was all over the place in the days leading up to it.
  19. 12Z EC is fairly rainy on Sunday as well. About 1/4" LSV. Showery type rains.
