  1. Only America's team would cause non fans to change their persona's.
  2. + 5 to +10. Not -10. Edit-Wait maybe you were saying you read it as a -10. LOL.
  3. Turning out to be quite the cloudy and wet (though not a lot of rain) day. HRRR has a line of convection moving through the LSV around dusk.
  4. MDT is shooting for a -8 high departure and +8 low departure right now. Though I think we get below 69 before midnight today. Lots of rain popping up in Western PA.
  5. I am still of the opinion that its early for real "fall weather". I was and am still hoping for a negative departure month though. That is still up in the air. Probably a positive by about 2-3 degrees as we hit Sept 20th (using GFS data.) MDT wise the normal is still in the upper 70's on Sept 20.
  6. I just saw the GFS warms back up again going into the following week. Not looking great for a negative September today. But just a few days ago I calculated out that we would be around -6 on Sept 20th so its back and forth.
  7. I just checked his calendar for today and it says "Football 8:20PM" so he is watching our 'Boys regardless. LOL
  8. GFS holding strong with sending some lower temps and DP's our way after Wed. Going to be an interesting run as to where Sept lies with departures as I figure we are in the -3 or -4 area going into next week and then that will be punched by 3 days with +5-10 Departures.
  9. MDT is making a run for 40's tomorrow night. First thing first :-). Doubt they make it but think many here do.
  10. Some 30's mixed in there. Pillow might be close.
  11. You are the Rouzerville of the PA Coal Region.
  12. Moderate rain right now over here so today is going to go down as a wet day as well but may not get to 70 over here. Should be a very nice Fri and Sat and decent Sunday.
  13. MDT struggling to break 70 tomorrow.... mid 40's for many tomorrow night. 3K Nam highlights.
  14. About 1/2" here. Still more incoming. Very winter like situation for the N/E corridor as a low formed on the front and is pounding them again.
  15. I wonder if the ctp met that downplayed this evening is on duty to issue the flood warnings.
  16. PS, if you compared the 0Z EC with the 12Z, the trend is for cooler and much cooler a bit north of us (compared to 0Z and especially compared to 12Z yesterday.) One day I think the 18Z Temp at Pitt is down 5-6 degrees.
  17. Yea, that map is a bit confusing as I see the small strip of normal temps and then they are suggesting that a large area is above normal however it is percentage based probability that their call is right. So people see the reds and think the darker the red, the more above normal but a day at MDT where it is 82 and 62 would constitute a red and be in the 60% while a day of 75 and 54 would not necessarily be blue vs. falling into the 40 (or 30) percent of having been forecasted to be red. Its basically a map that says the GFS is below normal and the Euro and CMC are above so we slightly better chance of above.
  18. Unless I am reading the map wrong that is only 60/40, right?
  19. Thanks for sending the pic of your screen saver.
  20. HRRR and 3K really focusing on the second line of showers and convection, overnight, for the LSV. Matches the zones as well.
  21. Your coldinista rankings have probably taken a hit. Ha.
  22. I am not at all questioning your station as you say others are reporting the same. But something is driving it. If you get to 90 you could have close to a double digit temp difference from others in the south part of your county.
