  1. What you are describing was my 2020. 4/5 of the Valley area was dancing in the rain and we were over 10" below MDT's norm's at one point...over 11 actually. People in Harrisburg were rafting down Front street while my grass died...not browned, died (and my insurance company paid to resod.)
  2. Finally in the books for July rain and I can confirm that we had some circulation to the rain as it feel. Not saying a tornado but it was not normal. Mow number 9 will be coming up this week. About a half inch here. 1.3" for the last 3 weeks.
  3. I do have a house in Washington County if that matters. Dry as a bone there too.
  4. Large area averages as of/including Sat.
  5. Yep. Does not look great at the moment.
  6. Dry, dry, dry over here. D2 coming next week of we strike out this weekend.
  7. .05......1/20th of inch. Up to .80 in the last over 2 weeks.
  8. Smokey as hell still. Hrrr dropped ball.
  9. Smokey and 79 early nooners. People are driving with their lights on.
  10. Under 12" for the year here. This is not as bad as the Drought of 2020 when we had about 8-9" at this point. We should be around 19" using HGR's normals.
  11. Under 2" for the month here. Our norm is below MDT's Norm but still over 1" under it. About 7-8" behind for the year now.
  12. I can still smell it. A little surprised it is so prevalent still. It is quite a bit worse now than a couple hours ago.
  13. A smokey 66 this AM. The panels on the HRRR show the smoke but the density is not that bad....ground truth here, it is about 75% bad as it was at its worse.
  14. Smoke had cleared out nicely here this afternoon but piling back in this evening.
  15. Yea, did not think of that. Today really drives home our inability to forecast convection. The 3K has not been doing well lately but this graphic is worth it just due to the length of the line.
  16. Baltimore Jack stole it from H-Burg. They are getting hammered. Shrew getting in on the deal.
  17. Another Harrisburg jack incoming. Quick one it seems.
  18. That does not sound fair but most people who try to break their roof end up not being happy. Some prosecutors go for the felony now.
  19. It will raise his municipal water bill for all the flushes.
  20. They are getting good at stopping scams. Floridians have tried it all and the insurance companies know what to look for.
  21. So do we. Sky high prices. My roof area (not related to the house size) is 2300 sq feet and decent shingle job will be $13,000. I have no damage to try and get insurance to cover it.
  22. I should have used the word HVAC system although in my case it is just air conditioning as our heat is a mix of oil and electric and does not go through the ducts.
