  1. The HRRR has the area circled area in Western NC transferring over to the circled area off the NC coast within the next hour or so.
  2. My changeover scenario did not work out too well. I truly thought people would lose 850 and 925 along with above and sleet would be limited. Maybe it will not be that much.
  3. Some areas (hopefully SE of our board) in SE PA could get quite a lot of rain this afternoon and evening. Not surprised to see some get over 1" with the low deepening a bit.
  4. I think it does change for almost all of us at some point as the HRRR has mix to Scranton now. Just not this early.
  5. That is surprising that 1) You have sleet and not rain 2) This 850 map....it is below freezing at 700 as well. You can see the 925's trying to push up through 2/3 of PA that is advection not temps.) ]\]\
  6. That will be the time to do a shovel. I have looking forward to the workout. Many have heard this before, but I have a 1/8th of a mile driveway and I shove.
  7. These folks are halfway toward Goldsboro. He sent me a picture and the roads have no snow and the grass is not close to being covered. More like the lanco people are reporting.
  8. Family in Etters said they have less than 1/2 inch.....snow mostly melting there right now.
  9. Latest HRR is slightly more favorable for the SE LSV folks who are not getting much accums right now...delays the big mix/rain push an hour or so.
  10. I think they had to when doing the math around their verbiage.
  11. Not sure we see a ton of sleet up here in PA. Seems the snow would be melting at 850/900 and there is not hyper frozen area it will travel through from that point. Not my expertise but feels more like a rain or snow situation.
  12. The more the low over NC controls the flow vs the dying west energy (they called it a trough on the discussion) the better chance us westerners have of not flipping. As you said, move the winds away from south...and cash had NE winds.
  13. That makes it sound like double digit totals are coming for someone.
  14. Current 850 and 925's. Some wedging going on south of the Laurels.
  15. First snow nooners in quite some time. 29/28 with mod snow and 1.25" on the ground.
  16. It was raining from Pauls Market (which is closed as I wanted to stop there) the whole way to Sheetz in Rouzerville. If you are behind the hospital, you have some elevation then.
  17. Same here. If my radar derived analysis is correct on the low location, we might get more snow than mix yet. Just need to get it past us so the UL flow turns away from any kind of south component.
  18. I was driving near the TSC, slightly East of town, about an hour ago and there was almost no snow anywhere. They got off to a very late start there. 997 was totally wet and it was a surprise as I came back from Chambersburg on 316 and that was a winter wonderland until I got to town.
  19. Feel bad if it all gets wiped out. Maybe they get tomorrow and Mon in.
  20. Some rotating going on here so probably the Southern SLP location. Mesos maps have one in KY as well.
  21. I am surprised they are trying to make it through what is coming next week (rain and 50's). I figured they may try again next weekend.
  22. Just got home. Snowing nicely here. Waynesboro was the only place in my travels that have changed over.
