  1. You may need the National Guard for the next one which is looking slightly colder.
  2. I think they do open again next week. The rain today and Friday will make them start over so going to take a few days to get open.
  3. We dropped to 30 when the heavier rain started. It will probably be 50 soon. We have had about 1/4" of rain already. Steady Easterly wind 20-30 with gusts.
  4. Even less than the Mesos for the LSV. Getting some ice accretion on the mailbox and trees right now. Nothing on the sidewalk.
  5. I see Ski Liberty opened up for one trail (beginner)... today and Friday is going to close them down again but maybe they get a short stretch of open in Late January
  6. The HRRR and 3K are not as juiced as I was expecting as to qpf today. Some 2" locations in areas East of mountains where it is wrung out but lots of under 2" areas as well. When I went to look, I was thinking it would be 2+" across the board for most of Eastern PA. The 55-60 degree temps will end my snow cover streak at 4 days. LOL
  7. Switched to rain here with an almost due East gust of 51 in the books.
  8. Some progs suggest you may need a WSW for the next cutter.
  9. 32 with a trace of snow in the books. Already quite windy with gusts 25-30
  10. I think we are close to being trackable for the 16th and that low also heads straight for NE Canada which is a key in keeping our cold longer into January.
  11. I think the pattern relaxes at some point....without Atlantic help, I feel the last week of Jan may be warmer than the 7-10 days before. Let's hope we make hay before hand OR that third storn does something productive pattern wise other than drift out to sea.
  12. I was the one that riled up man on the mountain with the punt word and I stand by my comment. If that 16-20th low does not run under us and intensify to our North East, and act to fight off the relaxation in the pattern, we could have a good week or more period of AN temps on the heels on the cold spell.
  13. Those dates are what we were talking about. Jan 15-20th. A nice cold stretch from the 13th for 7-10 days and then a relaxation...
  14. As bad as the Philly Football Team has played for the last month and one half, drawing TPA is the best they could have hoped for.
  15. Ruin said all the previous runs were showing snow, to avoid any confusion. And I agree, if we miss MLK, we punt the rest of Jan.
  16. Channel 21 says you need a Generac tomorrow. Hype is really up for this one.
  17. The other key if what I read on the MA board is right, the GFS is using the new Core (Fv3) and the Gefs is not. Unsure why that does not get more airtime as an issue, but I think it is. Again, old core could be better.
  18. Sure, but no one ever said "all the models had snow or mix." FWIW, the Op is a higher res member but that does not make it right.
  19. I went back to the 18Z runs of the GFS from Thur, Fri, Sat and Sun and the early weekend one was always snow TV followed by rain or just rain. Some, including me, discussed it up a bit in hopes of a better outcome but it was never a snow storm here. We moved on to the MLK one which is still in play... case in point, today's 18Z GFS
  20. My calendar showed January 5th until I read this and realized I forgot to flip it a few days. Thanks!
  21. The storm tomorrow was always a cutter with maybe some snow TV to start...the one after was mostly likely a cutter in recent models as well. Blame the SER.
  22. True. Roof saved. Brand new as of Sept/Oct.
