  1. Looks like precip has shut down for now after 1" of rain. Some decent gusts today. 38F
  2. Turned out a lot sunnier than I expected today. Chilly though, 44/40
  3. The atmosphere will not obey what human models tell it to do. Force field of weather still keeping everything away. Where's Obi Wan to take it down?
  4. It would seem like there's no change from the dominant pattern all winter...now continuing into spring. Eventually it'll break and probably at the worst possible time to leave us wondering what happened to summer.
  5. Getting a little snow shower now. 38F
  6. 1.45" of rain. Some house-cracking gusts today but no power issues.
  7. Nice cloud structure and rain shafts offshore from Jenness Beach, RyeNH .
  8. Hit 59 today. Sea fog rolling in now. Don't think we hit 70 here for a while.
  9. About 3 miles in from the Atlantic. Also, not sure if a fan-aspirated radiation shield might have had me staying in the high 50s but I think it's still pretty accurate.
  10. At least things looks to get more active. Been a flaccid month so far. Beautiful day at 63F before the sea breeze knocked it back.
  11. March looks to fail in the snow dept. so will be giving a final grade of C- here. Feels nice out there today...ready for spring.
  12. Warm evening. Still just under 58F. Sea breeze season kicking in earlier...
  13. Meat grinder to cutter pattern...rinse and repeat
  14. Glad to see Saddleback making a comeback... Probably try to get there next year.
  15. Iceland experiencing earthquakes constantly for the last week...apparently that's unusual even for them. Earth is trying to throw us off like a bull throwing a cowboy at the rodeo.
  16. Still 15-20" below normal snowfall. Currently grading it a C. Basically been very consistent with the last two seasons, both in that 15-20" below normal range. Best we could do at this point is get it up to a B with average snow but that seems like a long shot.
  17. Coating this morning and still mixing a bit. 35F
  18. Hoping for one bona fide storm to develop south of LI actually strengthen, and then curl up into the Gulf of ME with heavy snow and winds 50+ along the coast. You know, like storms of yore. Too much to ask this year...maybe we'll get it next October.
  19. Done it once in summer and also early October. The October climb was probably the latest I had climbed in the whites and had some snow showers/squalls by the time we got back to the car. Could have been a dicey descent. I was a little concerned with the couple that were up there in shorts and a wind breaker.
