  1. High of 70F in full sun today...can't remember a cooler solstice. Looking back the past several years it's typically been over 80 on this date. Would like something interesting to show up soon but Stein in control for now.
  2. Definitely been a nice stretch. Don't think we've needed to run AC here in over a month. 71/56 perfection out there now...should have taken this week off.
  3. Wife going to St. Louis next week. Forecast highs there are 95+ the next 10 days...no thank you. At least she'll be mostly in office buildings with AC.
  4. 51F, 0.15 measured but looks like we'll miss the goods off to the SW
  5. Bedroom windows wide open early this morning as the front came through. Felt great. Now 60F and breezy but mostly sunny.
  6. Picked up just over an inch of rain today. Biggest accumulation of the month, which is now at 2.73" total. Don't see any drought concerns if the long range is any indication.
  7. Ocean influence kept us to a high of 81 here. Took a walk and bike ride this afternoon but never felt uncomfortable. Storms will come here to die. 72/67
  8. 58/56....will be lucky to get close to 80 later on as the sea breeze will kick in about the time things clear out.
  9. Full on summer rushing in...already 78F. Feels too hot.
  10. Beautiful 73 degree day. Took a walk out by Little Bay…
  11. Hit 70.8 for the high so far this year. Beautiful day. Dense fog advisory up. 53/51
  12. Ready for some dews as long as they don't stick around too long and mess up outdoor activity. Hands are still dried and cracked like it's mid-January. 56/26
  13. 12z GFS is Stein city here for almost the entire run. Keep mosquitoes at bay?
  14. Pretty miserable day. High of 49F with murk and rain. This spring has definitely been cooler overall vs. last year. First 70F+ last year was March 26...still waiting this year. Heat hasn't been turned off yet but hopefully we can do that starting later next week.
  15. It would be funny if our first 70+ day actually coincides with the first 90+ day.
  16. Looks like first 70F+ temp will be in May this year. Highest temp so far was actually in February at 69F on the 23rd.
  17. Sun was trying to break out earlier but now down to 50 and cloudy
  18. Cloudy and 59F. Looks like we'll get clipped by some rain pretty soon.
  19. Unless the GFS nails the long range, we'll wrap up with 44", or about the same as 2018-19. The intensity of the Jan. blizzard brings this up to a C. Pretty meh overall.
  20. They sound pretty harmless. May be beneficial against mosquitoes, which I'm all for.
