  1. Yeah nothing here yet but 5-10 miles down the road receiving flakes. Should be soon. I remember past storms where I had HOURS of virga...drove me up a wall! 32F/cloudy
  2. Spring House, maybe 5-6 miles down the road from me reporting snow/33F... Sitting at 32F/cloudy
  3. Precip creeping up from the S. I'm at 33F and a DP of 26F so there shouldn't be much virga. We'll see...
  4. Any location from mid Bucks/Mont counties W will be painful. I'm right at mid Mont county so I'm only expecting C-1". Who knows it could take a last minute jog NW? But damn that cut off line is sharp...
  5. Watchings Vikings lose so Birds clinch a playoff spot... 63F
  6. Pitt only dropped 3 degrees in 4+hrs 37F-34F (1pm-5:25pm)...and it's still 34F Harrisburg still at 50F Philly 60F Not saying it won't happen but they are not dropping like I thought...
  7. It was 37F at 1pm so in 4+hrs it dropped 3 degrees so the cold certainly isn't rushing/storming in... Still 34F in Pitt
  8. If not in the mid 40s by midnight or so I would be a tad concerned. Only a 1-3" event over 12hrs so the snow won't be rip roaring to drag down colder air...IMHO.
  9. They are almost guaranteed a few inches w/a good chance at several inches...nice. Stuck at 58F
  10. It will be long over by then. Those are totals...
  11. I think everyone has low confidence....by 18z they would have to make some sort of call and projected amounts. 58F
  12. They'll have a longer duration event and heavier precipitation to drag down cold air. We'll have a shorter duration and probably light to mod precip. We need everything to count... 59F/mostly cloudy
  13. I'm well aware. We're pretty much getting into real time....screw the models, they have sucked. Watch the radar, nearby observations and temps.
  14. Sure, they will drop some but I don't rely on evaporational cooling...
  15. They will eventually but in time, fast enough? I always look at central PA as a checkpoint on temps when cold air is approaching, State College and Harrisburg. If they're not dropping fast enough then we sure the hell won't...
  16. Yeah but if our temps suck it doesn't matter. I keep looking to our west and what their temps are...and if they're dropping like they should. 58F
  17. These sun breaks are jacking the temps. I jumped a degree to 57F and Harrisburg now 63F...
  18. Holy crap Harrisburg at 61F but Pittsburgh at 37F so I'd imagine cold progressing W-E somewhere in between those two...Harrisburg temps should be dropping soon.
  19. I think places like Reading and Allentown are pretty much screwed but all we need is a 20-30 mile shift we'll get at least a little accumulation of a 1"+... 56F/cloudy/Birds on in 20min/window open by my recliner
  20. That's exactly how it was during my youth. Once I moved out I leave everything up longer than New Years. As far as the mummers I had relatives in "The Polish American String Band" and we would look for them on TV when they performed. We usually saw them.. 52F/Cloudy
  21. Ch6 Accu Weather Chris Sowers saying, "low confidence forecast"
  22. We need more N jumps but Philly looks like a few inches...still time.
