Yep, I noticed that as well. T-storms are/were kind of a reward to a shitty HHH day. Growing up playing sports (wiffle ball outside etc) it was clockwork...long hot/humid day T-storms usually roll in the late afternoon. Many times a couple rounds. Many overnight T-Storms as well. Now I can't buy one...

Thanks! My father is still "with it" but my mother (also 88) has dementia and doesn't know who I am (or anyone) . Sucked at first (2005) but nothing you can do and it doesn't phase me anymore. My dad (in the 1970s) would get explosives from "a guy at work" and our family would sit outside on the 4th blow them off. Dad (probably a bit loaded) would miss the lawn and land on the driveway. Next day he would wonder why the driveway/asphalt was cracked with blown out chunks. Then he would have to buy tar/asphalt filling to patch the holes/cracks because my mom was bitching at him.....lol, crazy shit in the 70s!

M80s etc will always be "underground" stuff and illegal in my lifetime. In the late 80s I paid like $3/pc ($60 for 20pcs?) from "some guy" and yeah they could blow your hand off....
