Looks like 7pm out there w/the clouds/darkness and light showers even though it's 4:30pm. Glad I cut the lawn early this morning. A/C on, Golf and Phils on, beer on, Summer solstice tomorrow and I may try to BBQ a steak....simple pleasures. 77F / DP 67F

Even this early (5:30am), you can just feel/tell today will feel much worse than the past several days. Stagnant, more humid but at least there's a chance of some boomers later this afternoon... 66F / DP 65F

We may fry a bit this weekend (not overly) but things become normal/below normal early next week moving forward. These low DPs and a breeze lately are great. Windows open at night and chill out. Great sleeping weather... 63F

Your post above to "remotely" blaming Embiid" is horrible....Simmons is the problem. What Center can score/move/rebound/pass and shoot 86% from them line!!! Wilt, Russell,Shaq etc would die to shoot 86% from the line...

He had a bad night, no doubt but he can/and has kicked it up. Simmons CANNOT SHOOT in general...at all! And FTs...WTF. People thought Shaq sucked at FTs...his worse year in the playoffs was 38%, Simmons is at 32% (4-14 last night). Simmons, himself, has missed more FTs than 3 of the other playoff teams. If Ben would have made ONLY 70% of his FTs this playoff series...Sixers would have swept Atl and we're done.

For myself, the progressive steps toward Fall are: Under 100 days ...then less daylight ...then seasonal cicadas/daytime start cranking July or so, Katydids at night ...then Eagles training camp opens ...then Max high is decreasing ...then Phillies are mathematically eliminated from playoffs contention ...then I really notice the sun angle is lowering/Fall angle ...then crickets come out in full force and jamming tunes all night ...then I see "back to school sales" commercials/ads ...then I see people selling summer shit (A/C/tables/chairs/BBQs) super cheap on craigslist because they're too lazy to put it away ...then whining on air news personalities "only 2 more weeks left of summer/til Labor Day...boo hoo" ...then Labor Day happens (My best time of year and going forward) ...then some obscure weenie joins the board and gives a winter prediction mid September... 72F / DP 61F

Same...seemed to get late night/ overnight storms more when I was younger? Sun's out, temps and DPs rising, hopefully this will create a nice environment for storms at some point...

I never thought about that? Hmmm... Either way, looking forward to the possibility of some late night/after midnight/early morning storms. Something about late night storms which is pretty cool. Everyone is asleep, quiet then in the distance you hear the rumble of thunder with storms moving in... 74F /DP 64F with a decent breeze, not bad.
