  1. At least it's some action even though it's rain. Hell, I'm happy with windy days at this point...a little entertainment in the weather world. 35-50F, sunny with light winds is completely boring in my book.
  2. No way. Unless we're inside 48hrs, forget about it. Wasted too much time on this pathetic winter....the writing is on the wall. Better things to do in life than track fantasy potential.
  3. Windy ass flizzard for the past 20 min. Looking at radar a little more to go...may be the highlight of winter.
  4. Looks like a semi-decent clump of snow forming to the W. I should receive a little something from that...won't stick but will be cool to see.
  5. This would have been a nice long duration storm if all snow. We're just not that lucky this year...
  6. Rain has just about stopped but winds are howling...
  7. Getting hammered pretty good w/nice downpour and gusty winds.....
  8. You may be correct....I didn't think of that. It's definitely raining at a decent clip. Pretty sad this obs thread usually consist of rain totals rather than snow this winter.
  9. Oddly enough not foggy here.....very low cloud ceiling though. Pretty dark for this time of morning. 44F Misty/light rain
  10. Vegas has their over/under win total at 85.5. I'll go with 81-81 with their bullpen blowing many games. It's amazing they didn't address this area.
  11. ^ Weather Gods really like F**king with us!!!
  12. Completely agree. I know it's taboo but I'll take late Oct snows as well. Once late Feb comes I'm just about done w/winter because March snow, in general, sucks. It's slop usually. From that point on I'm praying for below normal temps for Spring/Summer and looking forward to the next Fall season.
  13. Why do you have Murray in you profile picture? Belushi (Bluto) was way better....never thought Murray was funny. Completely overrated. In other news: We're done. It's not going to snow even though WXSIM says 18-24" for all. NFL: Go Chiefs and Big Red....the guy has paid his dues.
  14. You won't see 2" much less 10". WXSIM is a hype machine....is JB behind the scenes? It just seems like a horrible method in tracking storms. When you go from 12" down to 1-2' then back up to 10" something is screwy...and let the ups/downs continue.
  15. You got it! I would pay a pretty penny to skip late Spring and all Summer. I'm already dreading those HHH days with no end in sight.
  16. It must be Stowe VT. Stowe PA isn't that far away and wouldn't average 100" RedSky, Johnstown is a complete shit-hole...
  17. Snowing here, coating. Will be short lived but nice to wake up to...
  18. Mainly a sleet storm but switched to heavy wet snow w/big flakes within the past hour. Unfortunately it's almost over...may eek out an inch .
  19. Yeah, I can deal with that. Honestly, it feels like winter just ended and here we are in May. The next couple days will get a little warm but a cool down over the weekend extending into next week...
  20. I posted the snowmaps (screenshots) from the majority of the local TV outlets somewhere in the "Feb 8-9th Storm discussion" thread....I'm pretty sure that was the thread? If not, one of the other threads from this past storm.
  21. Can't they promote him since many people approve unless he has a solid weekday gig? (probably so) Maybe him at 4pm and 5pm and Cecily at 6pm 11pm. Or he just ship to a different station? He seems comfortable in his current role though...who knows?
  22. ^Agree. He offers good analyst and a snow weenie...often brings up model runs as well.
  23. I watch the 11pm the other night and all Glenn showed was the 3 day forecast? I never know when they'll show the 10 day? Seems to change day-day? It's like they want viewers to keep viewing/guessing when the 10 day will show up? (ratings) Ch6 is so much more professional (maybe that's why they're always #1) I almost had it w/Glenn/NBC 10...
  24. Make that 3. That's my time period as well. Around the 2nd-3rd of Feb is usually my cut off line then you have to hope for overnight snow. Sure, you "can" get snow during the day after that but it's usually slop which melts on the road as soon as the intensity lets up. You would need perfect conditions for a daytime storm. (temps in the 20's, low dense clouds and snow intensity) Overall, I've given up and would cash my Winter chips in now for a much below normal (temps) Spring and a below normal Summer. This Winter has been boring torture and not the least bit fun.
