  1. My deck is trying...grass and mulch accumulating. Probably can call it 0.1" at least. BOOM stats PADDED!
  2. Temp down to 33-34 with big flakes. First hint of some grass and mulch accumulation starting.
  3. ENSO progs I’ve seen are all over the place from strong Nino to mod Nina. I guess average was maintaining a warm neutral or barely weak Nino. But I think ENSO progs aren’t much use until early summer.
  4. Wes, I know the hrrrrr has a wrong bias, but not sure it leans warm or cold.
  5. If this was our last hope in a bad winter I’d be more stressed, but I’m already over climo and it’s March. I’ll just let it play out and hope to pad stats.
  6. Nothing would really surprise me for us. All snow, nearly all rain, mix. Think we see some accumulation, but big bust potential on both sides.
  7. I have to say, I’m pretty happy with the 12z suite for MBY so far.
  8. 3-6” is a good storm for us anytime, let alone march. If I had to WAG right now, I’d say 2-3” for us and @Scraff, but we might have to measure it in batches with melting or rain in between. 3-5” by I70, and 4-8” for the far NW folks.
  9. Yup. Going to be rate and elevation dependent. @jayyy could see a couple inches more than me only a few miles away. I actually think LWX’s current forecast is pretty good, but could be a sharper dividing line unless there is more widespread front or backend snow. At the height of the storm tomorrow evening there will be a brutal dividing line.
  10. What are euro surface temps tomorrow afternoon and evening?
  11. I think you’re right @psuhoffman about the weaker/drier trend. I’m also a bit worried about surface temps tomorrow afternoon and evening. 3k NAM is above freezing for almost everyone south of the M/D line even while it’s snowing. If it’s ripping, that will accumulate at 33-34, but light snow will mostly be white rain.
  12. 3 week stretch that nukes the grass followed by endless deluge that allows the weeds to run rampant.
  13. 4.6” to hit 30” for the season. A high bar for tomorrow but not impossible.
  14. Hope so. I think there could be a big difference between your location and mine. A 10-20mi shift would be huge, but that’s in the noise from last nights euro.
