  1. LOL…a good blooper! My sins will be forgiven if I hit a dense patch of fog…
  2. We have a little glaze on the snow and on exposed pavement here in southern WI.
  3. I think measuring snowfall by inches is not our best bet. It should be measured by “time to clear the #%}*%% driveway,” which would be much more useful to citizens!
  4. Light snow getting heavier in Albany, WI.
  5. The light show was amazing—nearly continuous flashes. But not, I think, enough rain to save the corn and soybean in southern WI.
  6. Another summer 2023 copy and paste, this one from MKX: ”…could split around southern WI…”
  7. About .7” here in southern WI. Happy to have that!
  8. Got about an inch of rain from one of this afternoon’s little storms. Quite impressive but very local.
  9. Snowing now. Would be pretty if this were October.
  10. Solid t-storm here at about 5:45. I enjoyed waking up to it but the dog not so much, poor guy.
  11. Heaviest snowfall this winter. Already closing in on 8 inches.
  12. Very nice storm—very pretty outside and the dog is quite pleased by his ability to roll around in it. I measure around six inches on a reported 0.53” of water. Not too much blowing yet.
  13. It gives parents a better chance to find alternative childcare.
  14. Winter Storm Warnings for 5-7" in the southernmost tier of Wisconsin counties. Advisories to the north now.
  15. Around 9-10 inches here, I think, from eyeballing the situation from my bed…
  16. Madison looks to have picked up six inches and Stoughtin, a bit south of Madison, may have eight inches.
  17. I’m about 15 miles into WI, almost due south of Madison, and my inexpert estimate is that we are closing in on five inches. Pretty good snowfall rate right now, too.
  18. Beautiful snow here in southern Wisconsin which I would like to sit and watch but must get to work early to avoid First Snow of the Year Crashes…
  19. Had a little snow mixed in with rain last Thursday in Madison. It is that time.
  20. One that occurs early Monday or early Friday AM in whatever fashion is required so that the weekend is extended.
  21. Lots of folks are watching, though. Madison lost power on Monday and I doubt anyone is looking for a repeat performance.
  22. Quite a drive home in thunder snow. Normally about 25 minutes but tonight was 72 minutes. Several occasions of white-out. Might stay the office next time…
  23. Woot! Just got the Tornado Warning screech over the iPhone!
