Toss the NAM at least as far as MYB goes. It shows nothing here until noon though we have about .25" so far. 3K is a little more accurate for what I've experienced--but still probably wrong overall.

This is on the heels of "the heavy rain being from coastal CT to NYC and South" to "wagon's north".
It's the same thing as the "these always shift west (or East, North, South)". Until they don't.
It will be somehwat disappointing to miss out on some heavy rains--given how boring the weather's been this summer. Just the same I'll be content with enough to keep the lawn feeling good.
Most of my lawn has come through the worst of the drought fine. With the recent rains you'd never know it's been dry.
There are a few patches that got really burned. Any thoughts on these areas? Would you rake them out and reseed as if it were a spring clean-up?
