  1. Temp tickled back down. 69/44. We bask in it.
  2. Can we get a 'troll' emoticon? What a COC today is. 70/49 with a nice breeze.
  3. What's the deal with that uber-cool area (near Oneonta??)
  4. Agreed. That August is one that will never be forgotten. Brutal.
  5. First call of the season for wraparound snow. :
  6. Okay--back to the temperatures here at the Pit. Just got back from the airport. Here's what I had: When I left, Accurite read 73 Car when I left--73 Car arriving at ORH - 73 Car leaving ORH - 74 Car Arriving home - 75 Accurite when I got in - 74 Accurite 10 minutes after I got back at 75*, ORH currently 75.2 Not sure what to tell you, Brian. It reads what it reads.
  7. LOL. It's the warmest reading of my three. Well, the car reading was a couple hours ago at this point. Oh---and there goes the Delta flight. We'll see what the car shows in a little while.
  8. I'll be driving the 1.25 miles to ORH in about 20 minutes to pick up my wife so I can see how the car thermometer changes. This is the most convenient airport for me ever. There are so few flights, if I hear a jet coming in for a landing, I check to see the airline (Delta today), wait a few minutes, grab a DD and then head up. Even if I hit the 2 lights as red, I still get there in under 5 minutes. FWIW--the Accurite is still showing 73.
  9. 80 fail perhaps in Weymouth? Probably not---but possible.
  10. Lol. When I drove back from the store an hour it so ago my fwiw car was reading 71.
  11. ORH is currently 71.6*. My Accuritate is showing 73*. My wife's 'fwiw-thereometer with the bird on it' is 71*. Edit: ORH is 73. No change to the rest of my post. It is what it is. Maybe Jet Blue passed the sensor.
  12. Okay, here's what I've got so far. Thursday wound up at 75 Yesterday was 70 Today--the torch day--is currently 73 at 1:00pm.. We'll see how the rest of the afternoon goes.
  13. Regardless of definitions of torch and interpretations of it in seasons, one thing is certain: Today is just awesome. 65/50, not a cloud to be seen.
  14. Not here apparently. I guess we can call this another "10-days failure". The drumbeat of the year continues.
  15. Can someone remind me when the torch is? I want to be sure I have time to install. TIA.
  16. AN does not equal HHH. The world will survive.
