  1. Yeah--cold and dry ain't happening. Less cold and wet is certainly in the cards, but I don't know where the notion of dry's coming.
  2. Plenty of time for that to run into YUL. j/k Things like this are always fun to dream about: Monday Night A chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. North wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Tuesday A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 36. North wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Tuesday Night A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22. North wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Wednesday A chance of snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 30. Northwest wind 14 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  3. Let's start the parade of "in 10-day pattern change" that we had last year. That one never got old. I'm not speaking of rarity--I'm speaking of the delta. No need to dwell anymore on it though.
  4. Crying while eating Halloween candy.
  5. Not really, Jerry. 23 in ORH vs. 4 in SVT? I'd put that at least in the mostly sunny vs. mostly cloudy realm.
  6. Man what a gradient between N/C NE and SNE. Man-winter vs. Meh-winter. Let's hope that's not the snow gradient we see this year.
  7. My dog is not like that. If she has food, she eats. Regardless of time, daylight.
  8. SNE might actually run ahead of JSPin for about 48 hours this season. Of course, that's still in question.
  9. Lots of snowmaking days ahead Maybe PF can start a snow-making thread.
  10. Switch it back. Folks in eastern Maine should have part of their school day in daylight.
  11. Apex Orchard? What a spot they have!!! Best place to watch the Greenfield fireworks, too. Already down to 37.
  12. I'm not sure if we can handle 4 months of this global warming.
  13. Well, I might have cursed the threat. But, I couldn't resist:
  14. Longitudinal and latitudinal gradient en route. Meanwhile, models are out an hour earlier beginning tomorrow. Whoo-hoo.
  15. First 20's of the season. 28* so far.
  16. I'm happy to see us turning the thread calendar to November. It's time.
