Snow's just started here.

Based on sound, we just had our strongest gusts of the storm so far now.

So wish I were there......if I had a generator.

They're howling here.....lots of blowing snow (unfortunately it's Friday's. lol). That said, it's crazy to think that this howling is half of the wellfleet gust.

Lost power in Mattapoisett

What are the rates in that insane area in PVD/Foxborough?

Where are those Maine amounts coming from? I don't think there's a single model showing more than a few spots getting even .5" of qpf. I got a snow day in any case.......pisses me off though as I could have stayed in PVD or Mattapoisett.

Mattapoisett: Tonight Snow, mainly after 9pm. The snow could be heavy at times. Areas of blowing snow after 2am. Low around 28. Windy, with a northeast wind 10 to 20 mph increasing to 22 to 32 mph. Winds could gust as high as 47 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 9 to 13 inches possible. Monday Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Areas of blowing snow before 3pm. High near 32. Windy, with a northeast wind 32 to 37 mph decreasing to 22 to 27 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 65 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 10 to 14 inches possible.

I should have done like Jeff and just checked out at 12z on Friday.

The 3K did cut my Maine qpf in half. There's always Wednesday and Friday to make up some ground.

Except I'd have to be away from work for 3 days.

GYX has me warned for 6-10. Seems a bit generous.

Nice that the peak winds and snows will be taking place during the day.

My wife will have fun shoveling that. Even more funny is how bad the roads will be........narrow roads with on-street parking. It will be a disaster.
